A chilly morning with some light snow flurries. In the back yard, enjoying some Peretti No.111 in the lattice billiard meer while the dogs play. Hot cup of coffee.

I was pressure testing a 2007 tin of Sam Gawith Full Virginia Flake and accidentally popped the loose seal. Good thing is, it’s still moist and was sealed. Bad news is, there's not really any bad news but the seal was not very strong and I didn’t mean to open this yet.
Currently smoking some Milan's Our Carter Hall mixed with the Ennerdale, M79, and Crumble Kake VA Perique leftovers. Soon I'll get to this flake of 2007 FVF in something.

november 27th. So many lower class bowls of ad hoc blend and the burley tester tins have passed since my last posts. Today is GLPease jacknife plug.... well rested and prepared this is my treat blend. the amazing bowl you wish to never end. The wide and generous size of the peterson 107 ebony spigot pairs perfectly with this blend. That said, it took soooo much skill and effort to get this blend to burn properly. No way could I have gotten these flavors without all the failures of prep and packing of bowls in the past. First one needs to rest the plug. I usually cut it to smaller blocks to allow more air to the core. This brings up one of my opinions on plugs, they are the best for maturing tobacco but once ready to enjoy they need broken up. This division then follows my intended amount to be used. Anyhoo, once I figured out how to get this and other plugs prepared propery I discovered another level of flavor. My original bugaboo blend was Escudo Only this year have I enjoyed it in its fullest..hard for me to do without practice. hope All are well
