Programmers tend to like nice mechanical keyboards. I'm often typing on a keyboard 12-15 hours per day. It gets down to replacing keycaps and choosing different key actuation levels with various key switch types. My main daily driver is an IBM mechanical, and I'll likely get some Cherry MX Brown switches in the Leopold. Interesting. Other than wanting it to be mechanical so I get tactile feedback, and ergonomic so it's comfy to use, I've never much cared. I've had a bunch of keyboards. My last 4 have been Microsoft ergonomic 4000 keyboards.

Smoked a few bowls of Orion's Arrow in the Saturday cob while out on the town with my wife, sister and brother-in-law. Now, I'm smoking (for the first time, ever) Brown Bogie in a sandblasted, no-name, "Made in London England" billiard, courtesy of Gypo . Right now, all I can say is "WOW".

Handsome pipe. I love the proportions between the long stem, shank, and height of the bowl.

ok, I have to say that ODF, in a larger bowl, is one of the most satisfying smokes I have had. I'll definitely be putting a goodly bit of this up in the cellar...

Handsome pipe. I love the proportions between the long stem, shank, and height of the bowl. I bought a group three basket pipes in different shapes, back in the 80s, for 5 bucks apiece. I used to call them my Dunhill no-spots. Well carved and proportioned, but nothing special to look at up close (that's why they were basket pipes), but they smoke just fine. I usually grab one of these when I smoke something new.

I have a few simply named “Made in London England” billiards that are no doubt factory seconds, one I am pretty sure is a Saseini and I s better than my four dot Saseini. And, a billiard is what I always reach for with Brown Bogie, the two seem to be a match made in heaven, especially in a narrow bowled billiard. The high horsepower of Happy Brown Bogie and the billiard are a great smoke for me. Brown Bogie smokes well if things get a bit heady, and is quite good as a later smoke.

Good morning Ladies & Gentlemen, i have some good news and one bad. Cholesterol, LDL, transaminase, blood sugar, ferritin, lymphocytes, etc are good, blood pressure is down too. Only the Uric acid is just on the limit and i had to do something about it. The surgery went well and i don't think that there will be another (2nd stage) and i started slowly to increase the pipe smoking days. Soon i will start posting photos with pipes in Cafe because all these months i was out of forum. Thank you all for your wishes! I am smoking Mac Baren Mixture Scottish Blend, single espresso plus cool water beside me and the canary is singing due to sunshine.

I'm glad you're well, Sid.
WCC Stubb's Pipe in a Legend. Were I stocking up on burley, this one would take up a larger part of the cellar.
