Charing Cross in a Walt MM Rob Roy. Unloading a few chunks of wood. Cleaned up rest off dead tree mess and picked up all my sprinklers and hoses for irrigation for the winter and let little guy sit in my lap and dive. It is nice to have some time off be a human and a dad.

surprising amount done so far. 3 outdoor "barrels" of yard waste to local transfer station, then the cans to cellar. Last of outdoor tools, same place. Chauffered wifie to Target; she picked up one last goodie for whomever. Snow shovels up from cellar, one on each porch, one to truck. Tea at desk, Exotique in LaughingBacchus meer in smoking room & finished the papers. Quite a bit for this really old fart! Hope decent Tues, get 3 punkins to back garden for squirrel feast.

Starting the day with Maltese Falcon in a Caminetto egg #147, with the usual morning coffee. Snowy at the patch, but clear and cold here at home. Today's forecast includes more tobacco and coffee, and some tree trimming in the greatroom.

Ronv69 I have a 4000W Honda gennie in the garage, used thrice. Make me an offer. LJP #333 in a MM CG. Instant cocoa with. Thanks, but I just reconditioned my Harbor Freight generator. We haven't needed it for the house, but I haul it around the yard to power my tools. We are looking at a big, natural gas backup generator next year.

We haven't needed it for the house, but I haul it around the yard to power my tools. We are looking at a big, natural gas backup generator next year. Just had one of those installed in August, Ron. In 2020 Sally passed just south of me moving at a snails pace, and beat up the trees pretty good. I was 5 days without power. Later that season one of the Greek named storms (Zeta?) passed just to my west after moving over coastal Mississippi. It brought down the trees that Sally spared. Another 5 days without power. Luckily it was cooler after the second storm so it was a bit less miserable. I decided no more worrying about storing gasoline for the portable generator (which was only big enough to power a 110 window air conditioner and small refrigerator anyway). The whole house generators were almost impossible to get after that. Big demand. But I got on a list and got one the next shipment that came through. I would tell you that pouring a slab, burying a gas line, and having electricians install the transfer switch cost almost as much as the generator itself. But it is comforting to hear it run weekly for a few minutes, and being able to look out a window and seeing a green indicator light (meaning it is ready to go). I now extend my middle digit to hurricane season.

And more in the spirit of this thread--smoking the same Charatan as this morning, stuffed with a bit of Fribourg & Treyer Cut Blended Plug. As the temperature here this afternoon is forecast to be a bit over 70, thinking about washing the truck.....

Seen a number of you smoking Rattray's recently. I find them to be often underrated. They have some very fine tobaccos and deserve more attention.

November 30th. Had a nice bowl of esoterica Margate in the old vauen classic volcano. I am making a point to run that blend in my work pipes to sweeten them a bit. The margate latakia is heavenly and leaves a pleasant ghost and room note. As my work pipes get the blends I wont burn in my fancy pipes they do get a bit bogged down. I found the Margate puts a sweet twist on the ghosts and the plan seems to be working! hope All are well!
