That one lasted about 25 minutes, too. The black bowl has a larger chamber than the lighter one. Now, I'm having some Big'n'Burley in the Tuesday cob, then off to bed.

That's some really quick smoking. I'd average an hour smoke in the Viking bowls. An hour plus in a small Falcon bowl. 45 min in a cob but depending on the size. For my favorite shape the Mark Twain, an hour smoke with Haunted Bookshop with 2 relights and a slow smoke.

I lost my link to this site and I totally forgot about it. I have dementia and I forget a lot of shite. I was just doing a search on pipe forums and I found you and saw I had an account here so I signed in and voila, I am still a member. Thanks for not purging me. I forgot to add the second Yes concert I saw was for Tales From Topographic, I love that album except of course siide 3 which even tripping is no good. I just figured out how to quote, back in business. Good to see you back, buddy.

I don't normally time a smoke but often get a good idea while working of when I started a smoke and roughly when finished. I lit the Erik Stokkebye's Evening Flake at 9:34 AM in the Falcon, and finished the smoke in 54 minutes at 10:28 AM. I had the first relight at the half way mark, and 2 additional minor relights 10-15 min after that with no unlit time. Add 5 seconds per tamp, relight, tamp as soon as the pipe stops producing smoke. This was half of a flake, from a full flake rubbed last night and left in the Falcon bowl overnight. It was totally dry at the start this morning. One flake of Evening or Luxury Navy Flake is roughly two full bowls for the Falcon.

too much to do till now. Full walks way earlier, no-band 5x50 for company. Next up, feed the Ed. Schwan #717 "breakfast bowl, added sausage link & shred cheddar. Add k-cup cocoa, all to smoking room desk, eat & on to the papers.

Borkum Riff in a Leonessa billiard...okay,okay, but I had a coupon that was running out in Dec. You wouldn't believe the hassle of using a coupon in one of those vape/head/hooka shops. As for the smoke, there isn't much to it. Some dry time might help; we'll see.

The Kaywoodie Saxon yielded an hour and thirty-two minute smoke of the Haunted Bookshop.
I got a wild hare to yank some March 2020 KBV Dark Fired Wild Cherry outta the back of the cellar to mix in with some crispy C&D John Marr and a bit of Milan's Our Carter Hall. Going to smoke that in an MM General cob after I eat some just finished crockpot roasted pork tenderloin, peas, gravy, and Au Gratin potatoes for dinner.
I figured mixing a bit of cherry with these tobaccos could make for a nice little Christmas cherry, rum, and vanilla aromatic. Two years of some KBV blends left in the Mylar bags has proven to me they are clearly the only tobacco container in the industry that can retain all moisture for years once opened.
