Thanks! Full disclosure: I wasn’t specifically searching for a 1987. It was an enabling rationalization when it caught my eye. 🤪 Best of all, it was a really good auction win. Besides being in the unpopular date range, the auction ended the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Historically, I’ve found the best times to win great auction deals is near the major holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas or right after a major pipe show. Sounds like you Lawitzke'd yourself! Just got home from a very enjoyable time with a very gracious host. Two bowls Christmas Cheer one bowl Squadron Leader one bowl Gernains RDF one bowl of KBV Notorious. Got to actually sit down and smoke quite a few bowls and talk pipes & tobacco and other things. Thank you sperrytops |

Cellar pull complete! Before putting it away I grabbed a few pipefuls of Motzek Strang, then put that back in a bin. That will be my next smoke. Pulled: 1 jar of GL Pease Stratford 1 jar of C&D Red Odessa 1 jar Peter Heinrichs Dark Strong Flake 1 jar Newminster Superior Navy Flake Tin GL Pease Montgomery Tin Peterson 3Ps Tin Peter Heinrichs Special Curly Tin McConnell Scottish Cake Tin SG Bothy Flake Tin Savinelli Brunello Flake Pouch 5 Brothers Totally different from my current selection, but looking forward to change. A lot of these are new to me  |

Michigan ... my original home. Wolverines ... 'til I die! The game being on FOX has me pretty upset. Switched to Roku years ago and don't have that channel. Ive been looking for a work around all day. I'm glad y'all beat Georgia. Now I get to listen to the locals come up with every excuse and "should have" until next year.  |

Just got home from a neighborhood pub crawl, 8 couples hosted all of us from the village for food and drinks. Most of the couples drove their golf carts around, Blondie and I were on the Harley.
Several great drinks and cigars along the way.
Home now, Blondies with Charli (pound puppy) watchin another Wives With Knives type of show, I'm up in the mancave havin my first pipe...

Silver I almost forgot--I like the rustication on that cob. I'd be too afraid to try that, though I did mod a Mark Twain by putting a chamfer or bevel at the top to make a quasi-Rhodie and the cob didn't disintegrate.
