Now that you mention it, I'm not likely going to make the Chicago show due to my grandma's extended hospital stay, and then shortly thereafter during it I also have to help my best friend move a bunch of his furniture and things. The Palmetto Balkan is interesting, but need several more bowls to dial it in. I hope she's recovering well, mate. |

A few more tins of Sutliff Uno. I'm only justifying it to myself since I'm not able to make Chicagoland this year, but from Missouri Meerschaum who don't offer free shipping, it cost a bit more than I'm willing to pay for Sutliff tins. It's that good, I guess.

2 cans of Palmetto Balkan and since I needed to make free shipping, I added a Savinelli Punto Oro Classic Natural 106 Billiard. "Classic" means a standard non-filtered tenon. Savinelli must have some supply chain issues for boxes. The pipe box makes this 5 1/4” long pipe look small. I’ve only gotten one other Savinelli box this large. Maybe I'm being forgetful, or maybe it's based on what's ordered, but the last time I placed a $150+ order with MM I had to pay for shipping.
I think you'll really like the Palmetto Balkan. After a few bowls I'm craving more and more of it. Once the tin's been open a couple of days the smell is incredible.
