Been wanting to add a nicer pipe or two to my collection. Had my eye on this one for a few days. It'll be in my hands by Tuesday or Wednesday. Congrats! Happy Smokes!

3 tins of Sunbear... stuck in the parcel locker in the mailbox because the key broke 🤨 Look on the bright side. The forced aging will do them good. 😕

Saw the doctor on Thursday, he want’s a 2nd opinion on the broken tibia plateau. He doesn’t think surgery is required, but the guy set up to offer the opinion would be the one to do so, it is just a small fracture but it is all about the location of the fracture that he wants a 2nd opinion on.
6-8 weeks with no weight on the leg, at least I don’t work the hottest part of summer.

3 tins of Sunbear... stuck in the parcel locker in the mailbox because the key broke 🤨 You animal! Just like a bear going after honeycomb. I skipped the one last year and was going to skip this year's. I read Jim's review and he said the Orientals were more forward this time, so I had to test it out. When the key broke, it was absolute disappointment. Gimme my honey! 3 tins of Sunbear... stuck in the parcel locker in the mailbox because the key broke 🤨 Look on the bright side. The forced aging will do them good. 😕 I planned on throwing one in the glove box to let the AZ heat cook it. So it's just preheating now.

I read it 3 times and I still don't know what the tobacco tastes like.

When I broke my heel in 88 the doctor said that it was a toss up on the surgery, but the statistics said that 86% of people got better without the surgery so we went with that.

Ronv69 Most of it doesn't mean much to me. I can't detect every little thing in blends. But I did like Sunbear (original), and I do like Orientals. At $12 a tin, I took the gamble.

The mailbox locks benefit from annual/ biannual lubrication here in the southwest. The heat and dust incrementally do a number on the keyhole, and it can be a key grabber…but flushing it out with PB blaster (what I use) can make it feel like a new lock.

It's a community box so I'm sure it's been abused over the years. But now I'll definitely spray our main one.
I just drove past the box and the sun is currently baking my tobacco. Let the stoving begin!

Ugh... the mail person left my note and broken key in the box, and left my package in the locker... I guess it cooks until Monday... at the earliest

I could definitely fix it, but it's a community parcle locker. If it was a personal one, I would have pried it open within seconds of the key breaking.

I would drill the lock out, and get my stuff. The route driver can contact maintenance to put a new one in.

If you want to follow the rules and protect yourself, I would go to the local PO and explain the situation and ask to drill the lock out. If the local postmaster has a brain, he will tell you yes. But he may be hamstrung by policy. If he says no, at least it has been brought to his attention, the route drivers probably don’t give a damn, and will blow it off.
Where my mailbox is, 2 minutes with a drill, and I wouldn’t get ratted out so I would have no qualms.

I called after I got home and they said they'd open a report on it. A few minutes later the manager from the Glendale PO sent me an email and said they'd get on it. Just open the damn box and give me my package! If it's not fixed tomorrow, I'll go to the PO and talk to them in person. I live 3 condos down from the box... they could simply drop it off at the door since there's someone here 24/7 And Ronv69, you know they'd rather mess with someone over a $2 lock than a "real" criminal.
