Finally! I got off work and started spraying down pigeon š©. It was just an excuse to stalk the mailbox waiting on the mailman.
But now I have to finish spraying down the poop... FML!

Really polite gentleman. He said "I wondered what was taking so long" |

Back in my room in Columbus and winding down for the night. So, this isnāt "what's in the mail" but "what's in the suitcase". Hereās a short summary with a crappy pic for now. The tobacco: 1x McC CC 2001 (a birthday gift from a friend), 3x Magnum Opus, 3x Leo, 2x Crown Achievement, 1x 8oz 2009 C&D Good Morning, 1x 2000 Escudo (a raffle winning), 3x Curmudgeon on the Can (this year's NASPC blend; limit two to buy but I worked a few hours as show staff and was given one). 2x Dark Fired Leather pipe cleaner holders. 2x Briarville Stem Oxidation Remover samples 1x Graywoodie T-shirt (not in pic) - Michail Kyriazanos bamboo shank bent Acorn - Kaywoodie Connoisseur Lovat (group 1 sized, this line is Super Grain but with contrast stain)(Graywoodie picked it up at the factory a week ago) - Dr. Grabow Royalton Apple (new; needed another horse chores pipe) - 2021 Dunhill Shell Quaint group 3 straight Acorn The Dunhill is not pictured as I worked a deal here with Shane Ireland as a show discount and it's being shipped to me. Great fun time seeing all my pipe show friends in person. This new to me registration number era Stanwell Golden S 22 is the new crowning piece of my Stanwell collection. For anyone unfamiliar with Danish Stanwells, Golden S is the EXTREMELY rare absolute top of the line from Stanwell. So rare as to be almost mythical. Iāve only seen one other and that was in pictures on Pipedia.  In order to understand more about just how rare the Golden S is, in Columbus, I talked with Shane Ireland, SP's pipe manager, to see what he knew. He went into the SP database and told me that out of the 6,100 Stanwell estates they handled, they have never had a Golden S. |

I think the seller knew he had a high end Stanwell but not exactly what he had as his BIN price was half or less of true value. š

Both made by Tonni Neilsen. They were not cheap, but far less inexpensive than provenance determined afterhand than beforehand.š Sometimes it works out for the buyerā¦ knucklebump. |
