I have an order coming from Wilkes. Going to try their new "Smoky Sweet Chocolate". Sounds interesting. From their website: "The creamy, sugary black cavendish is the lead component by its percentage in the mix, though it is a supporting player. The smoky, woody, earthy, floral, lightly herbal, spicy Cyprian Latakia is one of the most obvious leads. The chocolate topped white burley provides some nuts, earth, wood, and bread and is a tad less important than the Latakia."

25 pouches of Sir Walter Raleigh regular, with more to come, truly love that stuff and I do not care what anyone has to say about. That blend is a trusty, old pal and one that I will never get tired of smoking, yum!!!

If you can find contentment in easily available blends, the better off you are.

Got a couple MM Legends and a Bracken in yesterday. Really disappointed in the quality of these. I fully understand what they are and what they cost but when you remove the stem and the shank comes out is not good. All the ferrules are pressed on crooked and the rims and bottoms are all chipped. I used to just buy their bag of seconds and you had to look really hard to find the flaws. Guess I'm going to have to repair the old ones and keep them going.

An Ehrlich Canadian meerschaum. Haven’t smoked it yet but it’s already making me quite happy.

This came Saturday, I've been too busy to get good pics of it. I love this thing! If it's like my other pipes, it'll take forever to actually use it. I still have 2 that I bought over a year ago that haven't seen tobacco yet.

Technically it is over the last three days, but here goes: 1. New square blade inserts for my carbide lathe tool 2. Obsidian Pipe Stem Oil, to take my game one step further. 3. Food grade menthol crystals for my newest obsession, home brew nasal snuff. (Use sparingly; trust me on this ) 4. My new CPAP machine to replace the old one via recall. The first three were items on my wish list my wife and kids ordered for my birthday presents. The last, of course, is because I am a fat old man with sleep Apnea..

Picked up a small collection of GBD's. Ken, what are the models/lines of these GBDs? The left one is a Prehistoric 9539 the next is a Colossus 1759, they weren't kidding on this one it's huge. The other two are 508's. Sadly the third from the left's bowl is burnt out and I'm not sure I can save it.

kbareit If you ever decide to part with the one on the left, I call dibs!! Nice pick up on those. I love my GBDs If I do it's all yours. It's the one that caught my eye because I have the same shape pipe that is unnamed and love it. That brings my GBD collection to 7, My previous three are all good smokers and couldn't pass these up. I'm waiting to finish cleaning them up and get to try the Colossus out, it could easily be a two hour smoker. The bowl is huge.

It looks enormous!
The prehistoric line is my favorite. They have some interesting finishes on them. My first restore was my Prehistoric Oom Paul and it's a lovely pipe!
Fingers crossed that the burn out isn't too bad. 3 out of 4 is still a good score

I'll find out how bad the burn out is today. I have all of them stuffed with cotton and alcohol and start cleaning them. The Colossus bowl is around 2 1/4" deep and at least 7/8" dia. Has to be the largest pipe I have.

I only ordered 2 tins and I really hope they're still in stock around somewhere in a little over a week when I get paid again. I'd like to put at least a few more in the cellar, I'm really enjoying this one.

I'm about to place an order for my own stuff in the next hour.

I usually just get the Christmas cookie and Cupcake for the holiday season and saw a couple other that interested me. I smoke a lot of ARO's around the holidays but will be back to English and Va's heavily after.
