I have thought about the English sampler several times. I just have sample burnout need to work through about about 5 more samples 4 GH and 1 Watch City. I usually just get the Christmas cookie and Cupcake for the holiday season and saw a couple other that interested me. I smoke a lot of ARO's around the holidays but will be back to English and Va's heavily after. Have you smoked any Boswell's English blends? |

Have about 5 tins on deck or bullpen to add as soon as I finish up the last of my samples. |

I'm just glad I heeded the advice of others when I started here. I repeatedly heard to stock up now that it was the cheapest tobacco would be. I accumulated over 200 lbs in a couple years and haven't bought any since before Covid until recently. The prices have really gone up. My first tin of Presbyterian was $7.00 now it's almost $12.00. If I buy more now it's looking for something different than what I have. |

The C&D sale didnt persuade me to buy any C&D. However, it made me check out SP and scroll around their site.
A box of 1792 is on its way to me.
My SG stash should be good for a while 😁

Apparently I have 5 or 6 packages being delivered today. I'm not sure what I'm more excited for, the arrival of the SG plugs, or SOME of the packages of randomness from everyone here. I'll be sure to get a group photo this afternoon 😁

Nothing in the mail, but I went to Hobby Lobby with the wife. When heading out of the house, I don't like putting tobacco in a pouch as if I forget about it, it can dry out quickly, but I need something smaller than carrying Mason jars around. Hoping these glass jars work for loose, flake, and rope. Not food grade, and it has the Calif. prop 65 warning, but I don't live in California so that doesn't affect me. No Mason seal, it has a foam top inside the lid. 50% off the posted price.  the Pipery makes the pocket jar about a little bigger than a Copenhagen tin, but I have been told by others that tobacco can dry out in short order unlike the claims made at the website. www.thepipery.com/product-page/pocketjar |

Just received a Christmas package from my mother. She has never smoked in her life but the last few years she has been watching YouTube videos of pipe tobacco reviews and she buys me pipe tobaccos that she hears good things about. I’ve smoked or have every one she’s ever sent me and she clearly doesn’t know how much tobacco I’ve acquired through the years, but I’ll never tell her that, she puts so much effort into it and she ends up making some good choices. This year she sent me:

I put in an order for a few things: Cordial Friends Campanile La Brumeuse Bankside The Cordial Friends is a holiday choice, of course, and I also like to throw some business Country Squire's way, as they're about as close to a local B&M as I've got. (And they seem like good people.) Campanile is one Zach, I think, recommended a while back, when I discovered I liked Virgental blends. I would've sworn I picked up a tin, but it seems not. I've never tried Semois, so La Brumeuse should be interesting. And Bankside . . . well, it's a new Pease blend, innit. |

One person in our pipe club surmised that being a straight Va. and no Perique has some people grumbling, keeping it in stock longer. |
