Hey all! My oldest son is a Mechanical Engineer by day and a guitar player by night. For the past month or so, he has been playing gigs with Sam Norris. Sam is a pretty good songwriter and has a decent following in Birmingham AL. Sunday I drove up to B'ham from St Simons Island GA to see him play. I recorded this video. The name of the song is Meat Eater. Check it out.

Ronv69 Funny, I just started Peter Connors' Growing up Dead: The Hallucinated Confessions of a Teenaged Dead Head. In the first chapter, he mentions coming of age as a suburban white kid in the 80s, disillusioned with synthesizers and MTV, gravitating towards older music like the Doors, Airplane, Creedence, &c. I identify strongly with this guy already! --just another disillusioned suburban white kid in a van in the parking lot of a Grateful Dead concert....

Box fans? If someone starts mowing far away, you'll be asleep in mo time. At least that's pretty sedative for me.
QMS, Happy Trails earlier, a classic. Apparently Dino was kind of a jerk.
I dusted off some Brooks Williams. We used to catch him on the coffeehouse circuit for 6-8 bucks a night. And he had more hair. He could mesmerize a room and he still sounds good.
