We were on a coach tour of Ireland in 1984 and we went to a tourist caile in Tipperary. The young lady soprano began to sing Danny Boy and one of the other tourists on the coach, who was in his late 80s and not with the program let out a huge fart, belched loudly said announced "I remember that! Old what's his name used to sing that. I felt bad for the young lady and even worse for my potential future. May I never live that long.

I have it on good authority that Shane McGowan was only slightly snookered for this version.
Just kidding. I'm watching baseball.

Killswitch Engage and Lamb of God LIVE in about an hour Ha, I knew a fella who was into your kind of tunes. He'd be jelly. He turned me on to moe. a million years ago and I jumped on that train, but the others, not so much. Hope you enjoyed the show.

I actually listen everything. Well, except Rap. From Deathcore Metal to Opera, the range of Playlist is just like my cellar... something for everyone, but all for me. Hahaha!
But when you get lucky and find good metal with an orchestra, it's amazing! It becomes incredibly dynamic. But no one likes my "devil music." Thats what the protesters outside of the concert said anyway. That, and I'm going to hell. *shrug*

Heh, people have been threatening me with hell most of my life. Don't sweat it.
And I'll listen to almost anything but contemporary Country.

That, and I'm going to hell. *shrug* Same here with rap and hip-hop, “new country” can’t stand it, since I am an old goat, I like old school heavy metal, Lamb of God Carries too much octane for me😉 Orchestral arrangements in rock when done well, trip my trigger too, Moody Blues, Kansas, etc…. As a professing Christian, I am appalled that people would stand outside of a concert and harassing concertgoers by thinking that they are divinely charged with declaring someone’s eternal destination. “Westboro” types are despicable people that would be shunned in any circles I travel in. I did feel like I was on my way to Hell at a recent Sammy Hagar/ Thorogood concert though… but that was because I was on crutches, and unable to recline, not the music or the message.

I wanted to snap a pic with em with my horns up, hahaha. I left my phone in the car though. I'm one of the few people left that go to concerts to actually watch them... and I ALWAYS have a lighter! None of that "everyone turn their flashlight on their phone on" crap.
As far as Hell goes... whatever... I'll see what happens in the after life when I get there.
My whole family is Christian, I'm just here for the ride. But, since I've learned about it my whole life, I get a kick out of people judging others and telling them their eternal fate. Very Christian like!
Hagar AND Thorogood?!?! YOU SINNER! HAHAHA
Back to the road, had to stretch

Anymore, I only listen to background ambient music while I read. I find it really puts me in a reading mood. There's tons of the stuff on Youtube and you can pretty find any kind of ambient you want.

Yeh we had one in late August in Phoenix, I thought I was gunna pass out Sign up for the email list at celebrity theater, great venue, easy in and out, not a bad seat in the house, and you get early bird purchasing before the general public. I am done with outdoor concerts in 100+ degree weather in Az., and I am done with any show where watching the Jumbotron is the only way to see the artists. Getting to be an old crank!

"You always needed a distraction A target for the stones that you thrown To draw attention to your actions I'm tailor made so lock and load Oh, you're telling tales You spineless coward Your word's not worth its weight in shite Back against the wall, belligerent I won't shoulder the blame"

The best ever, without the commentary. You are absolutely correct. That performance is special in a lot of ways. I love what he does at the 5:15, 7:00 and 8:25 marks. Magic. The whole performance is. I strongly recommend this live video to anyone. Even if you aren’t a blues fan, the showmanship is well worth watching. “Live at the El Mocambo”
