Did you ever see him? He was only slightly less active than Mick Jagger. Active (manic) though he may be, the man just never looked healthy. Yeah, but you never can tell. Keith Richards will probably outlive me.

This bit about the mentions about Keith and Jagger, et al. Plus, I've loved Bill Hicks since I was a young teen.

Woofers are slappin' and almost bottoming out. I hear the neighbors yelling? I think they like it too!

I haven't heard Godsmack in a while.
Primus, Oysterhead, and various Claypool for this afternoon.

Some songs seem to be sacrilegious to ever do a cover version on, but Heart really nailed Stairway to Heaven at the Kennedy Center honors. To a lesser extent, I thought Wynona did a decent job on Freebird...a different delivery for sure, but a decent one.

I missed observing The Day the Music Died on the second of February, but I did happen to listen to Buddy Holley anyway.

Trying to decide if I like Metric's original version of Black Sheep more than the version with Brie Larsson. You can tell that they had better production for the Larsson version but the original seems better paced.

Found a pair of Bose Wave radio/CD players in one of the sealed up boxes...damn Bose has some great sound for a small radio.

I just discovered the Irish Descendants. Not exactly groundbreaking stuff, but good fun with a Canadian Maritime flavor. I don't know how they escaped me. It's probably a Dead day here day at Maison de le Tortue. Perhaps a '71 to start, maybe April 29 at the Fillmore East. Crispy Goodness
