I tired watching "Yellowstone" years back. Too much like life here and it made me nauseous. Yellowstone with Kevin Costner was written by Taylor Sheridan, so I don't think you are talking about the same series. This one is brand new. Same as 1883 also written about the Dutton family when they first went West to establish a homestead.

Watched a few episodes of Yellowstone last night, I really liked the encounter with the bikers from California… John Dutton..“Where are you guys from?” I answered before the biker did… “from California” My wife and daughter got a good laugh. . Beth is growing on me! Love the show and Beth. She has more cojones than most guys I know. One of our top favorites.

All caught up on Yellowstone, picking our way through 1883. I am impressed with the acting of Tim MCGraw and Faith Hill.
Sam Elliott always delivers the goods!

Still watching The Blacklist, i have 2 or 3 seasons left. I took a break and watched Archive 81, it was pretty interesting. Yellowstone will be next. I have started Archive 81, but I already know what is most likely to happen. I listened to all 3 seasons of the podcast last year. I didn't know they were making it into a series until it popped up on Netflix. So far it's a fairly close adaptation of season 1 of the podcast.
Also currently working through Season 2 of The Witcher, Wheel of Time, and finishing up Hawkeye to be caught up on Disney+ stuff.

Just watched the first episode of Jack Reacher. As expected, it sucks. At least they got a big guy to play the lead. Lee Child thinks revolvers have safeties. 10 minutes in "Jack" says that he knows the killer is a professional because "he used a 95 grain 9mm which is subsonic". Unbelievable. Inconceivable!

That must be the writers. They seem to know less and less about firearms unless it is a John Milius production. I had two revolvers with a cross bolt safety. Webley Mark VI, .38-200. I think that is the only one. Maybe the Fosberry .455 "Automatic" revolver?

The author makes all kinds of mistakes on firearms and martial arts. It's as if Brittany Spears wrote a series of successful spy novels, for people who have no clue about spycraft. We've binging the season anyway as there isn't much else on these days. I point out the mistakes, (that are also in the book), and my wife says that I'm making it a "MST2K" experience.

Tired of JJ Walker popping up on a commercial…. And his Noooow alleycat sales pitch.
Joe Namath too.
Them two seem to comprise 75% of the commercials on some channels we watch.

Do you have a moment to speak to me about your car's warranty? If ICE-T uses it at all is because he is comped on it. I get constant calls on my work phone for car warranty’s…after the first week when I entered in fellow employees, all other calls are ignored.

Working the new rendition of The Equalizer. Really enjoying it! Nice change of pace and the star has a support network that makes it believable.

Finished Blacklist a week or so ago, moved on to Ozarks. I'm on season 2 and like it so far, but I find dull spots in it and I fall asleep. Or is it just a sign that I'm feeling older?
"Hey! I was watching that!!"

The Santa Clarita Diet. Suburban domestic comedy with zombie cannibalism. Not as dumb as it sounds. We got some giggles and have a few episodes left.

Understandable. I use TV to fill a huge void that I've been left with. Anything to occupy my time works for me. I havent hit the "Russian sitcoms" bottom yet. Hahaha

The wife and I have been watching our way through Cougar Town. It's what you'd get if Friends and Scrubs had a baby. It's very funny.

You need to start watching Chi-com Tv. They have a new show, 'Dancing with Hunter"...sex, drugs...it has it all.

Binge watched the first 6 episodes of "Reacher" on Prime Video. A little hard to get used to the "new" actor playing Jack Reacher, but the violence is more "in tune" with the books. Not too bad. I'd probably like it better if I hadn't read the books and/or seen Tom Cruz in the previous 2 movies. This new guy is more in line with the character in the books, but isn't near as good an actor.
Agree with Ron about the gun knowledge of the writers.
