Be careful you may need a new stem and old sawbones may say you are not worth it. PLM! Pipe lives matter!

Eleven years off....my grandmother's birth year was 1899...if it was her birth year, I would have to do some heavy arm twisting. I have this bible, the spine is duct taped, but her notes are priceless. She was a pen pal of Colonel Sanders, and sat under the teaching of G. Campbell Morgan. I had Mike Myers make an acrylic stem for this one, the amber is put up and away from my careless clutches.

My own Plum Joe Krantz in a vintage Stanwell HCA. Awesome execution on this one, the Birdseye, silver and gold really put this one at the front of any remuda.

sparksThe title says it all...sometimes you can edit your post three days later, sometimes 3 seconds after posting the window is slammed shut. It is nice to fix a typo, or upon reviewing rephrase something differently as to clarify.

I ordered a 12-pack of Ball jars for tobacco storage and that'll be delivered today along with my tobacco order. I have gotten to the point that I have more jars than I need...plenty of bulks already jarred and I do not expect to ever buy any more bulk, enough for my life. Enough empty jars on hand to put an open tin into. Not bragging, but at some point in cellaring we all get there. Quarterly, I need to let the pipe club members know that free jars are available. Sometimes thrift stores have used jars very cheap, sometimes they are ridiculously overpriced, it is all about whoever assigns the prices at a particular Goodwill store....

Breakfast of two eggs and one strip of bacon on a whole wheat bagel, toasted, from The New Yorker Bagel Company of Astoria, Queens, NY whom I recommend. Order before 0900 Monday and they are baked that day. Arrive on Wednesday. Lunch was one roasted chicken thigh and egg noodles with marinara sauce and Reggiano Parmesan cheese. The Ubereats charges must be insane...and you have to put the poor schlub up for a 36 hour nap!

Never saw the need. Kind of like drinking watered down beer like Bud Light. What is the point of drinking beer? Gimme an iced tea! I don’t notice a flavor change in the two Savs I use the balsas in. YMMV.😉 I just feel like they are flavor robbers. But each person is wired different. (Shrugs shoulders)

Not really, if I could lessen the load and give you a reprieve, I would...unfortunately it does not work that way, John.

I am not sure that a cat named Turbocat should be smoking. With a Turbo on your intake, can the cat really be enjoying the smoke?
Maybe a normally aspirated cat can slow the smoke and enjoy it more.

Woke last night to the sound of thunder........ A great video of him with Jason Aldean on Youtube doing "turn The Page" thoroughly enjoying himself...I think he would do well to ride the river with. "surrounded by strangers that I thought were my friends" Wisdom spoken by someone many moons ago as he travelled the stairway to success....he figured out what so many other musicians did not.

0-5 daily but the current average is about a bowl every other day. About how it goes for me. Can’t smoke in the company truck, most hotels are non smoking, and it is usually too cold or windy when I do get to the hotel.

John, we're all pulling for you, pal. Let's take it a test at a time and know that our best wishes are with you. Well said, Russ. The wife and I will pray that going forward, wisdom for the healthcare workers as they tend to you, John.

Pat Martino, Live at Yoshi's. I don't like concerts and clubs. Too many people. But I love live albums. Saw Bobby McFerrin at Yoshi’s back in the day, a great venue.

El Patron special at Catrina’s in Kingman Az, Mexican restaurants must pass muster… if the rice and beans are not really good, automatic fail. Every instance here has been excellent, and the three meats are excellent. imgur.com/a/ZEozx4t

So Charlie is it the yellow shower curtain dress or the blue top with jeans that is the most disgusting. For me it is the stereotyping that you have to be obese to have diabetes no thank you Novo Nordisk. I agree. Anyone can be diabetic/ pre- diabetic, but there is a large swath of the population has it within their control to-get the weight down and get off the meds.

After I made the last post, I checked my work email and the company healthcare affiliate is offering a “smart scale” totally free! And every-time I step on it my readings are sent to them…. No thanks.

Doctors are about half as smart as most people think and often in bed with the drug companies. Truer words never spoken. And when you get to where you are taking a dozen medications, I don’t think anyone can calculate the interactions. I know I sound like a broken record, but that Jardiance commercial irks me… the fat chick that is morbidly obese, is dancing to the pharmaceutical choreography, as she continues to gorge on greasy food and take her pills. Just lose the weight and most of your problems are solved! Or in the words of the great philosopher Sam Kinison… “Sally, give the starving Ethiopian kid a sandwich, you can skip a meal.
