Been messing with my chain grinder for grinding chainsaw chain chisel grind it is older than I am had the motor rebuilt a few years back been sharpening chain with it for cutting firewood for a few years but now I am learning a little more tweaking it ever so much to change and get better angels better cutting almost got it dialed into where I want. I am trying to balance a few things with it. It has two diamond tipped dressing bolts that can change angle on them to shape the wheel. It is nice when it comes out well and cut better than brand new factory chain by quite a bit. I use it almost every evening after work now to sharpen chains for the next days work.

Happy Anniversary, Ron and Mrs. Ron! Thanks! Feels like 104 outside right now. Glad I'm inside. Watching the MSM it's looking like the entire country is rooting for the Texas power grid to fail. Government official says it ain't gonna happen. I just hope it doesn't happen here.

Found a gas receipt in the truck from December 2019. It's from Humble Texas where we used to live. $1.64.9/gallon. Time and money flies.

Kinda warm today. 109Β° and 12% humidity. No need to fabricate a reason to stay inside with the A/C set to 76Β°.

This heat is killer. The heat index has been over 100 since 10:45 this morning. It's currently 94 degrees with a heat index of 107. I'll take the 115+ days in AZ ANY DAY over this swamp heat. This is physically draining and pure miserable.
"But it's a dry heat" is a real thing. There IS a huge difference. Don't believe me? Come spend a month in the south during the summer. Bring extra clothes, about 5 sets per day. They'll be soaked in sweat while you just sit in the shade. Don't get me wrong, IT'S HOT in the desert!! You feel your skin burning and turning crispy. The air is hot, the ground is hot, everything is HOT! But the humid south wins for the most miserable summers.
The best part.... it's only mid June and not even the "hot part" of the year.
*rant over* I just needed to complain a litte

It feels like 104 here today and you can barely breathe.

Thats how it's been here for the last 3 or 4 days. Thick air that forces you to shallow breaths. All of our jobs scheduled are outside jobs too... there no relief except at lunch time.
... time for a change ...

I haven't spent much time in north Florida/south Georgia but the time I have spent was in July and I think it's worse than Texas.

Used the chronology feature on my old 1st gen apple watch today for the first time. Was tracking elapsed time for my covid test to hit ten minutes before I checked results. Kind of ironic that. Anyway, it was negative.

Kinda warm today. 109Β° and 12% humidity. No need to fabricate a reason to stay inside with the A/C set to 76Β°. So you had a negative heat index of 99. It was 97 here today with 65% humidity--that's a heat index of 125. Now that's hot. My brother moved to Washington State (just east of the Cascades) years ago--and lived there for several years. He told me the humidity was so low there, that when it was 100, he was comfortable. Moved back here and he does what I do--hides in the air conditioning....
