Cleaning house today and I found my top shelf pipes and about a 100 tins of tobacco, plus 50 jars and bags. Anyone ever smoke Macbaren Latakia Rolls? Back in the 1970s, that was one of my favorites. |

Cannot get the voice mail to work on my Samsung Android Galaxy A12. Must have spent 25 hours on the phone with my cell carrier and Samsung. Each blames the other for why it does not work. I am in the middle where I loathe to be. Resigned to no voicemail! Same with my Iphone 13 pro-max Unable to send SMS/MMS messages this morning. I went online and checked out, everything recommended, I did, not avail..... Went to Verizon store everything looked good, so I got a new sim card. Now, I could not receive texts, but could send... "Go home call verizon support" as he shrugged his shoulders. my first thought...you should call Verizon and get this sorted out...I was the only customer there for 45 minutes, and three employees were just drifting about. I have been on the phone for an hour and a half with a "specialist" having me do all the same steps again. The bad part is she has to spend more time looking up her cheat sheet....ARGGGGH! I should have just cut them out and went to the Apple store and requested a new phone under my Apple care plan. My phone is only two months old. Wasted days and wasted nights is not just a Freddy Fender song. |

 These so called experts, had trouble with first IPHONE messageing, expert no good, called oldest Son in Houston, he fixed the problem walking me thru it. EXPERTS BAHHH!

How in God's name did you manage to forget about 100 tins plus 50 jars & bags?  That's hilarious, especially considering that the Latakia Rolls have been discontinued a while back and resurrected last year, I think (with the old-fashioned black tin). I'm saying this to highlight the fact that they must have been there for a while. |

They finally passed me on to Apple care, problem solved in 5 minutes. I know who my first call goes to next time. Apple is to phones what AMEX is to financial institutions when it comes to customer service and competency. |

Decent sized pipe racks are ridiculously expensive, and shipping isn’t cheap. Hopefully, they don’t arrive as kindling wood.
At some point, I am going to commission a cabinet to hold everything and sell off my racks.
Buy once, cry once.

Got the new Horus Heresy box set got a whole pile of plastic sprues staring me in the face. probably start working on assembling then tomorrow. Just pouring over the rule book tonight.

The project I was helping out on finally got out the door, but then we lost 2 developers within a week of each other. Both of them were subject matter experts on the same thing. That leaves me as the only person who still knows how that system works. (I wrote it, years ago.) It's pretty easy to pick up, but since we're short 2 people now, I'm not sure who's going to have time. We'll have to figure it out. |
