A certifiable tragedy! Solutions must be applied immediately… Indeed! Best efforts applied. You need the chair-model 1942 swivel pin Mk 8.

The neighbor that leases pasture land came by y’day to pick up some fenceposts. On his flatbed he had a a shed that had been on the ground for a while and donated it for Eli, who loves sheds as chew toys. Didn’t take him long to get down to bizness…
Ps… that’s not a crack in his canine. Just a piece of trash or a dog hair.

I don’t see a problem, but cut off any sharp points. You can also cut them into smaller pieces.

My Aussie loves antlers and horns. Also leg bones, rib bones, arm bones, feet, eh, hooves.

Eli met his first big snake today. Told me about it so I went for a look-see. A big bull snake coiled up under the deck. He was very wary of it which made me happy. I don’t like snakes but I tolerate the bull snakes since they are such good rodent controllers, as well as having an aversion to rattlers— which haven’t been seen here for well over a year and I give them a lot of credit for that.

Wife and mother in law out helping a local charity with a plant sale. Doing my part by taking my father in law out for a walk and lunch at our local pub later today.

Glad you are able to distinguish between them! Many of my neighbors are not and so the back roads have too many dead Bull Snakes, run over by the fearful. I often chase them off the roads. Occasionally a Prairie Rattler, too. As long as they ae not near a house I leave them be as they contribute to rodent control. Our Prairie Rattlers seldom grow more than thirty inches, even two feet seems large. They tend to be docile unless trod upon.

Cool morning. Clear and sunny, light breeze which will turn windy later. Smoke dispersed owing to wind direction. Fires continue over in the Moreno Valley. All this destruction the result of a USFS Prescription Burn which got out of control.... again!

Good job, Charlie! Worth the work. (Connections help, too, of course.) Happy birthday to your lady.

Please pass on to your Missus my extreme sympathy and appreciation of her forbearance. All these years spent with a cave bear grump! Just kidding. She has a good man in her life!

I finely got a new job for a local couple. Only drive two miles to get to the work truck aka The Crummy. Pretty nice Crummy. Good folks to work for so far and I like it. It is kicking my butt physically but that is okay I need to get into better shape. Working days with nights and weekends off have not had this good in a very long time. Thanks to all those who gave me encouragement. I had not been this long without working since highschool. Things is much better now, not perfect but much healthier. Learning or relearning everyday at work trying to get more efficient. The most mellow "Boss Man" I ever worked for in 30 years! The Boss is also the owner. I am hoping this is where the good Lord needs me to be. I usually mess up his plans. Deere says she has not seen me smile this much in a very long time and my blood presser is way way down. Good news the Union insurance finely paid so my Chevy will be paid off this week. Just waiting for a few more checks from other benefits to come in to take care of a couple house projects and put into savings. My pay is not near as much as it used to be but we are doing better than I could have ever imagined. Deere went and got a job with medical before mine ran out and has helped me a lot through this time of much change. Sometimes we do not really know who we married untill things get really shitty then we see the person who we married. I am very blessed to have Deere. I am also blessed to have found some good people on this forum. Just wanted to throw an update out there hope you all have a good week.

Dark and noisy. Thunder booming. No rain owing to the wind. Lots of Virga visible in the west, away from the fires.
Praying for rain on the fires!

Still working on the flowerbed at the front of my house. Decided we needed another rock. Went back to the place where we bought 2 last week and picked out another one - of the same kind/color/composition. The only one that would work was a little bigger than the previous two. It weighed 427 lbs. That was about the limit for me to roll, shift, pivot, and manhandle into place. But it looks great. Should finish the bed by the end of the week. Thank God!

Thank you gentlemen. Days like today are becoming very familiar. It appears that my "username" is more fitting now than it was when I joined years ago.
