Ex #1 called this morning with a dead battery. Since I'm such a "selfish narcisstic a*****e" (said by ex #2 yesterday), I went and jumped her off and followed her to the autoparts store to get it tested. Battery and alternator were both good. I hate newer cars.

I used heating oi when I lived in rural Virginia in the mid 1980s. Cheap enough then. Excellent heat source!
I would not want it now.
Just installed a 120 volt Quartz heater in the computer room, office, cat box room, storage center, electrical lab, and pipe smoking Bar. It has not been above 54 in here for some weeks. So, a little boost!

Seems I have a cataract in my right eye taking vision down about 30 to 40 per cent.
I guess I will make an appointment for that, too. Should be a busy December with all these medical visits. That is what we do, eh?

I'm remodeling both of their bathrooms and left all of my tools there! |

That is what we do, eh? I had cataract surgery in both eyes about 2 years ago. Accompanied with lens implants. Worked out extremely well and improvement is phenomenal. Actually just had a small procedure done to remove floaters completely. It's non intrusive. Use a laser to impact the floater which breaks up in the eye and dissolves away. Amazing tech. |

It is like looking through a sheet of wax paper held up to my eye. Has anyone else experienced this? I am trying to figure out what is happening. I've got black spots. They don't seem to float. |

Smashed the end of my pinky and lacerated it last night moving a piece of lapidary equipment. And broke off the switch on the machine. I was about to use it for the first time and now it is out of commission until I can replace the switch. Damn. Glad I didn’t break a finger or need stitches. Clumsy Curmudgeon. My new moniker.

I don't think it is happening that much more often, though with the increased population from the days before social media I am sure there is some increase. I think it is just that we are being fed this crap by the news agencies with a steam shovel these days whereas before the advent of the internet we usually only got what was relatively local. |

We just had a woman kidnap a pregnant woman, and cut out her baby. Bowie County gave her a one way ticket to Huntsville. The executioners are suffering tremendously from having to do the executions. We need to change to using oubliettes. |
