Watching a few Dry Creek Wrangler School videos on YouTube. Good stuff. Dewayne puts out some good stuff! I wish we had a lot more of his kind in our midst, I appreciate him using that medium for good, I think the positive impact is far more than he can fathom. Stay on that horse, Dewayne!

My wife bought a Kate Spade 6 ring binder for $1 at Goodwill’s dollar days.
Just sold it on EBay for $110.00.
I sure wish I could get them kinda returns… I guess to an extent I do, our money is in the same pot.

I sure wish I could get them kinda returns… I guess to an extent I do, our money is in the same pot. We picked up our prescriptions the other day and my wife asked me if I was going to pay for hers. Sometimes I really worry about her. We have one account.

We had dinner out the other night, I offered my wife to do dishes to pay our bill when the server came to the table with the check.
My wife whipped out our AMEX card and paid for the bill.
4 hours of her labor while I sat in the sports lounge seemed like a great trade off to me… women!
After 40 years it is still a work in progress… or maybe not.

Watching my UH Cougars playing the Oregon Ducks at their place. Their court is the ugliest thing I ever saw. It looks like Bigfoot threw up on a bunch of dead trees and slime mold. It should be against the rules.

Feeling sad for the thousands of rich soccer fans that are stuck in Qatar having to watch soccer sober. 😢

Raked leaves and cleaned rain gutters today - on 3 sides of my house. Waiting for the tree in the backyard to finish dropping it's leaves before doing the back. It's a Bradford Pear - a hybrid of some kind. It's known to take a week or two into December before dropping all it's leaves, although it started early this year.
Cut back all the dead flowers in the front flower beds I put in this last spring - except for some purple leafed things called Heucheras or Coral Bells. They havn't been affected by the change in season yet even though it's gotten down below 20'F several times.
It was more work than I expected. I weighted 3 lbs less afterwards - all sweat/water loss!
My wife thought the yard looked great when she good home. Glad she appreciated it.

Watching the leaf guard commercials, if they work as advertised they are the cats meow. I rigged a pvc extension years ago to the leaf blower that worked well on dry leaves. Not an issue here and now in the southwest.

Not an issue here and now in the southwest. They jumped in my inbox the other day so I checked em out too. It seems to be a lot better than the screens that some people have. The screens would work great for leaves, but they're a P.I.T.A. with pine needles around here. I've made some side money blowing off roofs and cleaning out gutters in the past, and I always hated picking 100,000 pine needles out of those things.

I'm waiting to hear how the leaf guard works for pine needles before I buy. Haven't had any gutters on any of my houses since I took them off my first house. Way too many trees around for gutters.

Had my DOT Medical examiner bi-annual checkup today, went to the MVD to turn the paperwork in. The clerk said "You are licensed to drive everything but an ambulance and a motorcycle!" I told him "Yeah...but I never wanted to drive a meatwagon (old Cb slang), and I never wanted to be the piece of meat." This happened two hours prior near our truck exit gate...a cop told me the rider had a pretty good launch, and the meatwagon took him away...old fart was the jeep driver.

Ron, sorry you are still under the cloud of illness! Get well sooner, ok!
Look, JFK came to Dallas in November 1963. He was met by an Honor Guard of Boy Scouts. He died that day. You were a part of his last day. That is truly a honorable memory.

After just about two weeks of waiting, UPS finally delivered the electric blanket I have ordered from Amazon. They could not move slower. Nights have been tough sleeping under five wool blankets plus a Down Comforter.
Sadly, no power cord nor Controller was included in the package so the electric blanket is useless. Hard to believe the level of incompetence these days dealing with just about everyone, it seems. I can gradually becoming a an old grump. a COLD old grump!
