The saddest thing of all is that the vast majority of Americans asked to remember the day would say “What day?”
Forget history and you will relive it.

Having a rough start to the day. Hopped into my truck and noticed my dash drawer and console was opened. Further checking found some (can't say what I called this person here I probably would be banned) broke into my truck. They stole my cornhole bags and case they were in, my tool bag and drill and driver set. Had the cops come out for a report and was told I should have had it locked (Duh it was). Just thankful they didn't get in my van with all my tools.

It was 84 degrees here today. A month ago it was 42. I'm sure glad I'm not a weatherman.

So I've been looking at lathes lately and finally decided on one. I was checking my emails to see if I had any coupon codes. I did. I found one for 25% off any item with no exclusions other than it had to be in stock. I got all excited. I was going to go with a bigger lathe considering I already planned on spending $_____ anyway. Then I read the coupon. It expired 2 weeks ago.
FML!

Not in this part of the woods. I'd rather buy a new one anyway.
AND I missed all the SG Plugs this morning. I'm calling it a day, lol

Root Canals today. Two. Side by side. 24mm and 22mm. Not an easy fix. Took over an hour and repeated injections to get numb enough for the work. On my second hot Irish Whiskey toddy. Sore!

I've had a couple of those compliments of the US Navy. Never was fun, and in my case it came with an unexpected bonus a few years later when the dead tooth exploded into pieces. Had to have it surgically removed... That was a BAD day... Sincerely hoping your dentist is more skilled!!

It is rewarding, I was in the home of a departed code talker, his wife is a patient, and the daughter had a loom in the corner with a half made Navajo rug. I am going to have her make me one for the wife....her cousin raises the sheep, she dyes the wool.

Those are great photos, Charlie.
Today it was -7, which is chilly enough for me. Sitting in my study with a hot water bottle on my knee and an oversized hoody. That combo is perfect here and i don't have to put the heat on for my study.
