Johnnie Walker Blue...gonna miss this free stuff. When I was doing hazmat removal, a case of this flam/ liquid had been compromised as the case and labels had water damage. Doing my part in the disposal process, but we are at the end of that trail. Same reason why I don't go out on very expensive boats, drive cars I can't afford, etc. I must say that I my boss bought me a glass of JWB once and it really wasn't to my taste. I went to a JW tasting in Houston once and we had a real class. After the class there were a lot of untouched samples on the tables. We cleaned all that up for them. Note: all versions of JW mix well together. 😊

Doing my part in the disposal process, but we are at the end of that trail. Reminds me of the scene in Ft. Apache where First Sgt. Mulcahy and his cohort were told to dispose of a barrel of whiskey being illegally transported to the Indians. "Boys," Victor McLaglen says, dipping his cup into the barrel, "we've a man's work ahead of us." One of Victor's best lines in the movie. The other which sticks with me is the scene at the beginning at the Stage depot. Pedro Armendariz orders "Fours glasses of cool beer" for the detachment sent to pick up John Agar. Victor then chimes in "I'll have the same with a whiskey chaser." They do not make actors like Victor anymore.

A modest Chateneuf du Pape. A fly just committed suicide in my glass. So, I had to poor it out and refill. I suspect that in a prior life such fly was a noble but reckless individual.

Fly in wine? Haul him out by the scruff! Shake him good. “Spit it out, ya bastidd!”

Having truly just a wee taste of Noah's Mill bourbon. Early signs are that this is a truly excellent whiskey. Very oily, high proof (115), and lots of flavor(s).

I had the devil of a time catching it in stock down here, guys. Don't know what it will be like where y'all are. It's a Willett product, so if you see their other whiskeys on the shelves, I would think this one can be had, too.

Still nothing to drink ... 1 month now. That sounds particularly dangerous in Arizona. Try some iced tea.

Woodford Double Oaked. Other than the first few times I tried it, I've never not enjoyed this whiskey.

Anyone tried Jameson Orange? To this old fart it sounds like another travesty. I just read an scientific article about psychedelics making your brain work like it did in your late teens as far as learning and being open to new things. Maybe if I can find some acid I'll vote for Kamala.

Sun King Wee Mac Scottish Ales. Sounds interesting. I still have a large bottle of Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout in the refer. Since I am off gluten I cannot drink it. So, reserved for a guest(s) who know what it is to enjoy.

Wee Mac is one of my favorites of theirs the past couple years.

I’ve been in a strange mood all day and it’s continuing with me drinking Bacardi with lemonade and cherry juice.
