Windjammer in a Georgetown Belge? I don’t know, the subtleties of the cutty shapes seem a bit subjective. I was curious to try this tobacco in a briar as I’ve only been smoking it in meerschaum.

And what were the results of this experiment in plant-based smoking implements? My initial impression is that in a briar, the tobacco flavors are more muted than in a meerschaum, or conversely the rum topping is stronger/more apparent. I will try this in some other briars next. Haven’t formed a conclusive opinion on it yet.

Good Evening! It's 81° with a clear sky at sunset out here on the deck. The two tins of Wessex Brigade Campaign VA Flake were delivered today and I'm looking forward to smoking this excellent tobacco. Having an after dinner bowl of Wessex Brown VA Flake in the Upshall Dublin. Have a great night, everybody!

Erinmore Flake in a bent Dr Grabo. Delicious! Don't laugh. It's a fantastic smoker and one of my favorite pipes! lol Nothing wrong with a Grabow. I have 2 pipes that are labeled Texaco. Great smokers.

Good Morning! It's 61° with a clear sky and one of the workshop doors is wide open. Later on I have to go get a blood test at the veterans clinic in Canton to check my iron level. The smoking day has begun with a delicious bowl of fresh Wessex Brigade Campaign Dark Flake in the Stanwell 29 and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the tobacco table. Have a good, safe one everybody!

York Town in my one and only Boswell, coffee on the side. I'm heading for a much-needed haircut, this morning, but with a much smaller pipe...this big clunker doesn't travel well. If the day goes as planned, I'll get the oil changed in the RAM too, we'll see...good luck with the iron, Russ.

Good luck with the iron, Russ. Thanks, Herb. I have a complication and the iron deficiency is just a symptom. If it gets too low, I'll have to be hospitalized. Great. Hospitalized before getting hospitalized for my hip surgery! LOL Anyway, I smoked a couple of bowls of Peterson Flake on the way to and from the blood test in the MM Washington cob with a genuine Walker Forever stem. I think that it's time for a short nap.

Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Wednesday cob and coffee on the back deck. Sunny and warm, with a comfortable breeze off Lake St. Clair. Doing some quiet weeding, working my way up to heavier work.
