Just now finishing the Boswell full of York Town, but I got a haircut, an oil change in my pick-up, and even made a supermarket run...I've earned a nap, but I think I'll fix lunch instead, then have a bowl of my porch mix, out in the swing.

Good Afternoon! It's 82° with a light, cool breeze, a clear sky, and bright sunshine out here on the deck. I just have to bring up the laundry from the dryer and that will be my big chore for the day. Currently smoking a bowl of Wessex Brigade Campaign Dark Flake in the Stanwell 29 and there's a glass of cold water on the side. Time to read my book.

The trees in the neighborhood are pollinating vigorously. Despite a runny nose from this seasonal airborne detritus, had a very nice bowl of OGS in the hardwood on the back deck with coffee this morning. Happy Wednesday, y'all!

York Town in my one and only Boswell, coffee on the side. I'm heading for a much-needed haircut, this morning, but with a much smaller pipe...this big clunker doesn't travel well. If the day goes as planned, I'll get the oil changed in the RAM too, we'll see...good luck with the iron, Russ. We're on much the same schedule. I got the oil changed yesterday and tried to get a haircut, but couldn't get in. |

I loaded a Brebbia apple with Derby Club Aromatic, but so far I'm unable to light it; Buster is very ill this afternoon, and even though he's only ten, he seems to be giving up on life...he's been so much more than just a dog to me , and thinking of life without him around leaves me void of all enjoyment.

I loaded a Brebbia apple with Derby Club Aromatic, but so far I'm unable to light it; Buster is very ill this afternoon, and even though he's only ten, he seems to be giving up on life...he's been so much more than just a dog to me , and thinking of life without him around leaves me void of all enjoyment. Good Afternoon Again! It's a very warm 85° with brilliant sunshine and not a cloud in the sky out here on the deck. I'm up from a deep, restorative nap and feel better for now. The Veterans Administration sent my order for a new CPAP mask and it arrived today in a big shipping bag. The bag contained not one but four new masks, so I'm good for at least two years. I think that my new books will arrive today as well. Currently smoking a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Stanwell 29 and there's a glass of cold water on the side. Have a great night, everybody!

He is laying in the kitchen floor, completely unresponsive, hasn't eaten, drank or made a sound since 4pm...just got off the phone with the regular vet, and they will see him in the morning. other than that, they sed we could take him to one of the animal ER hospitals, but they're both hell holes, and we've had dealings with both and found them unfeeling and substandard...with no sign of pain, we've decided to wait till morning if we can. Buster is almost eleven, blind since age five, and suffers from bronchitis...he had a heat stroke last summer, but a days rest and calm saw him back to normal...this afternoon he seemed like his right foreleg was stiff and weak, and when he laid down, his front legs spread out at a 45 degree angle, but when Sharon came home he got up to meet her as always, then laid back down, and that's where he is now. |

Out on the enclosed front porch tonight reading Carl Sagan's "Contact". Smoked a bowl of bird mixture "Eccentric" after work earlier. It is fantastic. One of my new favorites.
Have some "Bayou Morning" loaded up in my Peterson bent. Storm blowing in. Jack and Coke next to me. What an evening. Perfect.
