Friar's Bayou in a Stanwell Golden Danish 86 shape. This is one I just finished cleaning up. Pics later. Busy ripping up carpeting and tack strips. We went through that not too long ago; a mess, and A.P.I.T.A...today the wife and I power washed the porch/deck, and the vinyl siding across the back of our house and garage. we didn't do it last year, but the power washer fired up on the first pull.  team work makes the dream work! My Lion and Lamb mix in a 3-Star bent billiard from Pipes by Lee, coffee on the side. Heading to two banks this morning, then Lowes for deck cleaner and such , and lastly to the supermarket...with more power washing planned for the afternoon.

Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Wednesday cob and coffee. We're at the kids' house unpacking boxes. They hired movers to unload their shipping pod. Everything's in the house except for a sofa that they couldn't get through any of the doors. I guess we'll have to figure it out. Smoking Friar's Bayou in the Wednesday cob as I ponder.

Good Afternoon! It's 73°, breezy, and with large  , white clouds sailing along out here on the deck. I was released from the hospital earlier in the day and sent home because I'm doing well using my walker and am able to get around. More about this in the Daily Chronicle. Currently smoking a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the 1950 Dunhill Lovat and there's a plastic mugga cold water on the side. It's good to be home. |

It's all about the way that my surgeon went about accessing my hip. I don't have any surgical site pain, but it's painful when I'm up and using my walker. Physical therapy is being arranged for at home care and I'm going to do everything that I'm told to do to get back to walking on my own. Anyway, I'm smoking a bowl of Wessex Brown VA Flake in the Dunhill Lovat and listening to streaming light jazz. Have a great night, everybody! |
