After a long day of cleaning out the garage, enjoying a treat of Newminster Superior Round Sliced in the carved hardwood while playing with the kids and the dog in the backyard. For those in the know, how does SRS compare to 3Nuns? I've heard 3Nuns is just a fancier, tinned version. Is 3Friars anything like it too? Thanks! Have a great evening, all

Good Morning! It's 59°, windy, and with a cloudy sky out here on the deck. We're supposed to get some rain today, but that could be a no-show. Nothing much doin' today and the main activities will be exercises, napping, reading my book, and smoking me pipe. I'm half way through a bowl of Wessex Brigade Campaign Dark Flake in the 1950 Dunhill Lovat and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Good Morning Again! It's 63°, damp, and with a cloudy sky out here on the deck. Up from an earlier nap, did my exercises, and now it's pipe, coffee, and reading time. Currently smoking a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Dunhill Lovat.

Bayou Morning in a MM CG, long night last night so cold brew coffee on the side. Blessed with a little cloud cover this morning down here on the Texas coast. I'm sure it'll burn off pretty soon and be another hot one.

Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Thursday cob and coffee on the front porch. A few sprinkles this morning. Doing a little plant maintenance today and mowing the lawn.

Good Afternoon! It's 72°, humid, and with a mostly cloudy sky out here on the deck. I finished my exercises for the day and next week my physical therapist is going to have additional exercises for me on her next visit. The bar, it seems, will be raised again. Currently smoking a bowl of Peterson Flake in the Dunhill Lovat and there's a plastic mugga water on the side. A good evening to you all!

It's the one that I smoke the most. Good stuff! Yes it is. I’m now on my fourth bowl of it today. There is a short list of tobaccos that I sometimes smoke for days instead of bouncing around with different blends and this is on that list. It does a great job of staying interesting. |

2014 Crown Achievement in my Stanwell Silver S 126 Horn with plateaux rim. Sweet looking piece of briar! The story about the resurrection of Crown achievement, finding the old recipe book, and even finding the old tinning machine and recreating the labels to fire up production is a great story. Truly a great blend, glad that I jarred a few pounds away, saddened that it did not take root on round two. |
