Took a hiatus for the past 4-5 years. Recently moved and a few weeks ago while unpacking boxes I found my stash. Last night I shaved off some flakes form a chunk of Gawith & Hoggarth RB Plug. Boy that smoke is next level. Cheers!

Good Morning! It's 64° with a cloudy sky here before first light. Nothing on The List that I know of, so I'll spend part of the afternoon at the hobby bench. Starting off the smoking day with a bowl of Scottish Flake in the smooth quarter-bent Upshall Dublin and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table. Have a good one, everybody!

Welcome back matt and good morning all. I'm smoking some 2015 C&D Burley Flake #1 with black coffee to drink. Another toasty day expected here as summer hangs on in desperation. Just let go, Summer! Lol

Good Morning Again! It's 65°, breezy and with a cloudy sky and we may get a shower here sometime. In the workshop one last time for a pipe and a second mugga coffee. Currently smoking a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Upshall Dublin. I'm going to call an old Navy buddy of mine that I haven't seen since the mid-'70s today. He lives in Canton, so I'll see if he'd like to get together. I'd like that.

Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Wednesday cob and coffee down in the cave. It's 58, overcast and breezy outside. It'll only get to the upper 60s today. We got some rain last night, so I don't have to drag the hose around the yard.

I think I'm about to head out into this bright, bright moonlight and have some Boswell's English Biscuit in a . . . something or other. I'll let you know.

Man, it really is bright out here. It seems I didn’t put any English Biscuit out in one of my little cosmetics jars, so it’s Brunello Flake. The pipe is a little Savinelli Petite billiard.

Brunello Flake is always a pleasant smoke. And here is the aforementioned wee Savinelli billiard. It's about the size of Group 1.5 in Dunhill terms:

Good Morning! It's 56° here with an almost clear sky and bright moonlight. This afternoon I have to make a supermarket run and then have a routine video conference with my primary healthcare provider from the veterans clinic in Canton. Getting the smoking day started with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the BBB Two Star Special smooth billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table. Have a good one, everybody!

It's my last day of work for this week and I'm looking forward to a little downtime, hopefully. This morning's smoke is Reiner Long Golden Flake in a Castello Sea Rock with black coffee to drink.

Happy last day of August! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Thursday cob and coffee on the front porch. It's 62 and sunny, with a very light breeze here. Headed to 72 today. We'll get much warmer by Sunday. I'll be enjoying today tending the garden and yard.

Good Morning Again! It's 65° here with a mostly clear sky and bright sunshine. Back in the workshop and listening to streaming classical music before heading in for a late breakfast. Currently smoking a bowl of Scottish Flake in the BBB billiard and there's a second travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table.

How do you like the Limerick? It was nice. Just enough Perique to spice things up. Yes, the Perique adds to the depth and body of the blend. It's unavailable through my usual suppliers but, when it's in stock, I always like to have it in the regular rotation.

I'm having some Friar's Bayou in the Thursday cob on the back deck. Picked some vegetables and am contemplating my next move.
