20 tins of Oden's Extra Stark, keeps me comfortable on long runs. I miss smoking my pipe and cigars in company trucks. This is an about empty container; they are packed pretty good.

I just ordered a new MM bent General from MM and I should get it by this weekend. My old one has lasted for years and had developed a long crack running the entire height of the bowl, but didn't penetrate into the chamber. Recently, though, the crack opened up at the heel and began leaking moisture, so it's time. I'll just take my Walker Forever Stem from the old one and put into the new one. Looking forward to it!

I have a General around somewhere. I always reach for my MacArthur that I shortened the shank and added a forever stem. Both smoke fine.

I have two MM Generals that I think are my two best smokers. Nice, deep bowls, never ghost, and they give me the option of smoking with or without filters (I usually choose to exercise the option and use filters).
I haven't pulled the trigger on forever stems for them, primarily because I can't decide what colors I'd like.

It supposedly has cinnamon in it, I have never detected that… potent classic tobacco flavor… two behind the lip will get your motor running.

I just ordered, as in last Friday, some Samuel Gawith from pipesandcigars. The tracking number indicated that it had been delivered on August 27th, to New York, Minnesota. Keep in mind I'm a Houston Texas guy. I'm glad I got it so quickly!! Definitely wackadoodle. 😁

The wife drug me to the consignment store….
“I found this perfect cabinet to display your pipes downstairs, shallow drawers to keep your ebonite from UV rays, and enough shelves to display others… they need to be displayed downstairs, not hidden upstairs”
I think I have a keeper!😉
It also entailed me disposing of an amoire that is a partial tobacco cellar… shite the bed! I need to start smoking more.

I feel very fortunate today. My ex wife just returned from St. Gallen, Switzerland where she was visiting her cousin who has cancer. She went into what she described as a marvelous tobacconist shop she said had beautiful pipes and she said she was going to call me and see if I wanted anything, then decided that was impractical and that I already have most anything they might carry or can get it myself, so she bought me a carton of non filtered Parisienne’s (definitely can’t get those here) and also brought me back a bottle of Kirsch, Kirsch filled chocolates, other chocolates, a box of truffles from the premier chocolatier in St. Gallen and a tube of Thomy Senf. A great haul! I also picked up my mail and have three packages with Pipe tobacco that I haven’t opened yet.

Sounds like you both parted ways amicably....it is a shame that does not happen more often who people do move on.

I ordered 3 items from Amazon yesterday using my Prime account. Amazingly, all three an items arrived in the same box! They must have all shipped from the same warehouse for a change. Received: a new EzPass suction cup windshield mounting bracket, Dr. Scholl's insoles, and an outdoor extension cord with wireless remote on/off. Much easier to turn on and off the string lights which line the front porch now!

The technology is nice… I have a dual prgrammable Kasa outlet and it fires up the air cleaner about the time we get up, powers down at bedtime.

Usually, my Saturday mail delivery happens as early as 9:30am. Of course, on the day that I am eagerly awaiting a package, it didn’t arrive in the neighborhood until 5pm and when say neighborhood, I mean it got delivered to our neighbor. That’s a very rare occurrence; must have been a substitute delivery person today. The box contents were cellar top ups of Pegasus, Yale Mixture, and Piccadilly. Then a pipe which had caught my eye a few weeks ago… a 2023 Dunhill County 4127 wide oval shank Pear.
