Toque Espresso isn't bad, but the flavor is kinda light.

I have a thing of SG black arabica. It's a great snuff. My sinuses dont agree with it though, so it sits in my snuff drawer 95% unused.

Never seems to be quite fully functional. It's looking pretty good so far! Today, I'm busting into my Old Mill stash and they have a nice page dedicated to Chef Daniel: www.modernsnuff.com/chefdaniel/index.htmlIt's hard to believe that two years have already gone by since his passing.

I couldn't get that site to load on my new kindle, it said that it was an unsecured website. I clicked on advanced to override it but for the 404 not found file.
We recently had to do the website certification for the pipe club, my daughter said that it is a ball that gets dropped by website were or something of the sort.

Let's see if the home page link is better: www.modernsnuff.comHmmm ... if you just google "Modern Snuff" and then click the link it works ... only these redirected hyper-links are not working.

I think that it is probably time for them to do the site certification update.

Sadly, I never committed to buying any Old Mill. Figured it wouldn’t be there tomorrow and suddenly it wasn’t. Dang shame about Chef. Seemed like a very nice guy.

Trying tapping down the tins kind of like how a dipper takes a dip can and knocks it down to pack it before dipping. I try to do that to pack it down flush before I open one. I did the old tin tamping method on quite a few occasions, no dice. Tried Fubar Bohica at Darin's, I really liked it....with this guy, the fun begins at about 4:45.😃 Though I am not into snuff that video brought on a few really needed laughs. 😁

That fubar is no joke! It’s actually quite pleasant if you take it very gently and in small amounts. But if you try to be heroic about it, stand by for a really bad time!!! Most of the day today I was sniffing Bernard’s Polar Prise. One of my absolute foavorites! Smokey and “camp-fiery”, and slightly sweet, and the perfect amount of menthol!

Glad to see you here, Matt! I mostly use Fubar Bohica when feeling "stuffy" ... clears you right out! LOL The Polar Prise sounds really good but is one I have not tried.

Yeah...I was at work a week or so ago, i was taking in some toque snuff and a Copenhagen user was telling me that snuff was for P___ies. i asked him why he said that...his response was that he read back in the 1800's women were snuff users....I told him that women back then were tougher than the average man nowadays.
he wasn't buying it, so I reached down into my work bag and pulled out Fubar bohica, and handed him a heaping czech spoonfull...heaping just like the Toque I had just snuffed.
He was humbled.

Haven't been snuffing much lately. Gave up the filling after it was a main cause of a problem I have. In some manner in my brain it accsoiates sniffing with dipping. I enjoy the snuff, I like the confidence of being able to pinch any place. I have to find a way to allow myself to do this.

So, the problem is that snuff makes your brain think of dipping and you want to avoid that? Does that happen even with a scent that is nothing like dip, like Root Beer? Don't worry ... we'll get through this together!

Part of the problem is picking up the tin and putting it into pocket, then remembering it is not dip. And yes mint flavors are not a good thing. I wonder how a Kona, Columbian Supremo or French Roast would work. Root Beer, oh goodness. It is hard to get a pinch when you hands are covered in saw dust or th fingers are covered in glue or wood finish.

I've got a solution for that one. Use your nail / spoon to place a small pile on the back of your hand by the thumb, aka the "Anatomical Snuffbox". That's what I do when I don't want to stick my fingers into the whole container.

That sounds cool ... I know you'll make something unique! I'm boring and just usually use the flat end of my pipe nail. LOL

At work I keep a vial in my pocket and tap some out on back of my hand between my thumb and index finger. @johnr you could do the same with a vial and then the tin in your pocket wouldnt remind you of a dip can.
At home I have a small "snuff spoon" that I use.
