Started watching "Shameless" on Netflix. We have binge watched half of season 8 thus far and I'd rate this series at a 8.5 American or British? I like them both personally but they are also different despite starting off similar. Last series I watched was recently with my wife and that was the current last season of Grey’s Anatomy. It was just to spend time with her while she relaxes before the new semester of nursing school starts and life becomes hell and sleep nearly nonexistent. While its not a show for me I'll admit I found some story lines and a few scenes entertaining. So I'm kind of 50/50 on it. I'll watch more with her in the future but not on my own time. I'm about to start watching Band of Brothers. Its been over ten years but I'm pretty sure my rating still stands. 10/10 American and I wasn't very clear about watching it, we have been watching it for some time now but I watch from the beginning when each new season comes out so I remain caught up.

Band of Brothers is well worth rewatching. I have done so 3X and every viewing was rewarding.

I enjoyed Shameless and Ray Donovan. Those are the last 2 series I ever made a point to watch. I missed the last 2 seasons of both.
These days I dont venture too far from the History Channel (not pawn stars, American Pickers, Counts Customs or whatever. But Ancient Aliens is a must), National Geographic, Discovery, or my favorite the Science Channel. I love the night sky and the universe, the science channel has great shows about it.
I just started watching Yellowstone Live on Nat Geo, so I guess that counts and keeps this thread on topic. I give it a 7.5 out of 10. The Earth is an amazing place!

West World would be the newest full season I binged. Pretty good. If you're into science fiction, it's great. Also: If you're like me you loved DeadWood. Well the movie that ties it all up finally got the green light. They film this fall and it should be in theatres(or on HBO?) next fall.

In the mood for something more modern, I bought the miniseries, The Bridge on DVD. A blind faith leap, I wasn't familiar with it. If you have seen it, please post your thoughts on it, pro or con. haven't seen either, but a friend of mine loves the bridge.

My wife and I are almost through our multi-year Star Trek geek-fest. We started with the Original series, then Next Gen, DS9, Voyager, and now we're getting towards the end of Enterprise (the weakest of the lot, IMHO). This has been going on-and-off for something like 7 years! I guess we'll have to subscribe to CBS so we can see Discovery next....

Watched 3 episodes so far and enjoyed them, though the central plot device is stolen from a French drama of recent times. Liked seeing Ted Levine (Monk's old boss) and Lyle Lovett,as a sleazy lawyer, in supporting roles.

The Rifleman tv series (1962) 10/10... In the early 1990s I walked down a side street from Ventura Boulevard, the commercial district of Studio City CA. Coming the other way on the sidewalk was a tall and lanky man. As he got closer, I recognized that peculiar kind of crouching walk. Yeah, it was him. I stopped in my tracks and, suddenly, I was a kid again. It was The Rifleman. Now, I lived there long enough not to be star struck but that got to me. When he passed me, he smiled and winked. I guess he knew exactly how I felt.

I was watching IT crowd. It's such a clever comedy. If you haven't seen it, check it out. Maybe I've mentioned this before. If I have, why have you not seen it yet?

I worked in IT so it's very relatable but you don't have to be in the industry to love that show. But it does show the irritations of being in that environment although on a more light level. That's why I got the hell out because quite frankly I could not stand the people I had to deal with. "Lets just unplug the power cable OK?? "Which one is the power cable?" "The one plugged into the power outlet on the wall or surge protector if you have one." "Whats a power outlet?" At least on the phone they couldnt see my face. In person it was so much harder to deal.

The last couple were Mrs Maisel and Jack Ryan, both of which were amazing. I can't say enough good about them, especially Mrs Maisel.

We have much in common!! I grew up with up with The Rifleman and Chuck Connors. Once I retired back in 2011 I decided to burn the entire series on a few DVD’s. Same with NYPD Blue and the very popular series Rescue Me, staring Denis Leary

The Prisoner - probably for the 3rd time but my wife had never seen it. Still holds up, and we wondered if it influenced David Lynch.

I have a few I like, several were canceled and drivel was kept, Drives me crazy. We don’t get tv with an antenna around here nor do we buy cable or dish, I now use my 37” Vizio tv as my pc monitor. I subscribe to Hulu and am an Amazon Pro customer so some tv shows are available through both venues. I started watching a series called Harrow, set in Australia and filmed there by Australian Broadcasting Company. It about a Forensic Pathologist who has an excellent sense of digging out the crime motive behind his patients. I truly liked it a lot and found out it was Season 1 and won Australian television awards for best series and acting and Season 2 was renewed, definitely worth watching if you have Hulu. banjo

We've been watching The Waltons.
It's wholesome, yet entertaining, and takes me back to a simpler time ... there's also a fair amount of pipe smoking in it.
