Whatever you carry on a daily basis, either indoors or when out and about. The fixed blade below is one a made a while back. The folder I did some custom acid etching on the blade. The pistol pictured is a Sig Sauer P-238, perfect size EDC for warmer weather. I only carry concealed....I’m totally against open carry!!   |

What is that one? The handle scales I used are from woolly mammoth tusks, quite expensive....no room for any errors working with them. The blade is 1095 high carbon steel, holds an edge well. Those are highly polished tiger eye stones epoxied on the sheath, different angles for sharpening the blade when camping. |

Also the watch, I did not include mine, only time I’m not wearing a watch is when I’m in the shower....but it is an EDC!! I sleep with my watch on, have for over 45 years...a work habit I guess. I was on call when I worked 24/7, needed to know what the time was at all times. |

Looks handy enough for dealing with home invasions. I figured you for a Model 97 Trench Gun with fixed bayonet. This is much more compact. That said, I would love to have a '97. I shot a very old 16ga a few years ago and it was faster than a semi automatic. Well broken in is an understatement. |

I’m carrying concealed since 1972. Use too also be a member and shoot competition through the NRA. I’ve received a few emails and letters asking me to change my view on open carry. Yup. I changed.....I’m no longer a member of the NRA!!! Should be mandatory in ALL States if you have a license/permit to carry a pistol it MUST be concealed.....JMHO

We'll see if Ronv69 thinks this is an exaggeration. I have never seen anyone carrying openly unless they were trying to make a point. But, with the lightweight clothing we have to wear all year, there was a problem with "flashing". If anyone saw your concealed weapon when you bent over to get something off the bottom shelf you could be arrested and charged. That said, there are a lot of places that I would be more comfortable carrying my 44 Mag in plain sight. I wear it on my hip while riding the trike just because. |

In the cooler months I carry one of my 1911’s 👍👍👍. Oh, I carry cross draw. Comes in handy especially when driving with your seatbelt on! Especially when being approached while stopped. Easy draw for me if needed as well.

Ron, in NC you can open carry without a carry license/permit. AS LONG AS you have no felonies or spousal abuse record, here your good to go! To me that’s absurd!!! The weapon MUST be seen, when driving it’s best to put your pistol on the seat next to you, if the seatbelt covers your weapon, you will be arrested. I notice many carry open in this State. Scares my granddaughter’s whenever they notice someone carrying open. The only city in NC that does not permit open carry is Cary, NC.....how fitting👍

There's quite a bit of open carry here in AZ ... I conceal 90% of the time. (Snub-nose Taurus .38, +P Hollowpoints) Like Ronv69, I open carry on my hip when riding the motorcycle. |
