Love that mini hatchet. Bet it cuts plugs just great! Thanks Walt...because of the “ flat “ grind it cuts meats or vegetables just as well. The blade is the Cleaver style.

Now my EDC pocket knife.....I’m enjoying the heck out of it! Slices any plug precisely with ease. Nice. Who makes this knife, Ted?

Walkman.....I still have the Schrade Scrimshaw pocket knife that my grandfather gave me when I was 14, it’s been used often, still in good condition. As per my Will the knife will be placed in my hand once my time is up here on Earth.
Very nice, Ted!

Walkman ^^^^^^ it’s a Ganzo Firebird. Made in China, however many great high end/quality knives are now being made in China like...Kizer Knives & Reate...you can view videos on YouTube on both brands, including Ganzo Firebird knives.
I posted mine about about a month ago on this forum raving about the quality, including carbon fiber handle scales. I purchased mine on Amazon for $20.45 delivered. Two members of this forum purchased them within a few days. Both members really liked the knife! They’ve been sold out from the seller I purchased it from, he will have them back in stock shortly. They became so popular from the reviews that the price went up a bit. One seller is asking $65.00!!! Even though in my opinion it’s worth $65.00, keep your eyes open on Amazon if your interested. I own folders that cost between $100 to $150....I’d compare this Ganzo Firebird in that quality of knife....I’m that pleased with the knife👍👍👍👍👍. I do own much more expensive folders as well, which my entire knife collection will be left to my only grandson....a few I selected for my daughter as well. She is carrying a knife a made a while back, she’s received many compliments.
just took a look for you from another seller on Amazon.....selling from $21.00 and change to $23.00 and change.....you will not be disappointed!!!

Thanks, Ted. I don't think I've ever seen a cleaver style folder. 👍

Thanks, Ted. I don't think I've ever seen a cleaver style folder. 👍 I own another cleaver folder that cost just over $100.00. The Ganzo Firebird is far superior! That’s advice from someone that’s made many knives in my lifetime!

It’s Walkman ^^^^^^ here’s a copy of an Italian Made Lionsteel Knife ....clone by Ganzo.....cost me under $28.00 a few years ago. It’s often one of my EDC knives. Very well crafted. It’s the Ganzo Firebird F-720. I made a quick lanyard with one of my Luger 9mm shells.

I’m carrying concealed since 1972. Use too also be a member and shoot competition through the NRA. I’ve received a few emails and letters asking me to change my view on open carry. Yup. I changed.....I’m no longer a member of the NRA!!! Should be mandatory in ALL States if you have a license/permit to carry a pistol it MUST be concealed.....JMHO 1000% agree

Unless of course it is electile dysfunction..."the inability to get aroused over any political candidate"

I just ordered the Ganzo cleaver with an orange handle. I Really don't need another knife, but I figured the orange one would be harder to lose in the grass. Yeah, that's why I needed it. I have 3 other Ganzos, automatics. I can find no fault with any of them. My most often carried knife is a Kershaw Emerson made in China with the wave so that it comes out of the pocket already open.

Ron, the Ganzo Firebird cleaver knife will become one of your favorite knives. Please post your opinion once you’ve had time to use it a few times. The quality will blow your mind for the price you paid!! I now own 11 Ganzo knives, including two fully automatics, which are not legal to carry in NC....but if I choose to I can walk down my street with an AK-47....makes no sense! I own 2 high end Kizer knives and 2 Reate knives...both high quality, high end knives made in China. I’d stack them up quality wise to any of my Zero Tolerance or Benchmade knives that cost almost double in price. Back when I was working and had the money to spend I purchased a Chris Reeve SEBENZA 21 Box ELDER BURL for $600.00. Both my Kizer and Reate brand knives are of the same quality and use S35VN steel for the blade. I’m not a fan of Elmax steel....if not heat treated properly the blades edge has a tendency of rolling. ENJOY YOUR NEW TOOL👌👍👍

I don't need to carry anything that would have violated the previous law. The Emerson Wave works better than the the automatics.

What good would my weapon be on my hip @ 4:00 or 5:00 when driving a car with a seatbelt on. So, best for me ...I’m right handed...carry my holster on my front left...not really hip...more towards my front pants pocket. Your ready if while sitting at a light and your being approached near your car.

A low tactical holster on my dominant side would be fine too (if for open carry).

When I feel nostalgic I carry a 1911 in a Galco Miami under my left arm pistol butt forward but for every day carry I do deep at five on my right hip with spare mags at seven, and I always carry two mags as spares for two reasons. 1 is low round capacity on my chosen carry pistols and 2 is that I don't want me or my family being killed for lack of being able to shoot back. The word is practice, practice, practice well I'm a regular range member and I also shoot IDPA and Steel Challenge but it don't me crap when someone is shooting back at you. no offense to anyone who does but I think open carry is just ridiculous.

Your ready if while sitting at a light and your being approached near your car. has this happened often? Since living in NC I had to draw and point my weapon one time....my bank parking lot was closed so I parked across the street. The lot was being painted on a Sunday. I did NOT walk near the painted area, just walked towards an ATM. From my left I heard a guy yelling in Spanish....will not repeat in English...he was swinging a shovel over his head running towards me. I had no choice but to draw my weapon, he was lined up for a torso shot with the next 15 steps towards me. His boss finally noticed and heard me yelling “ drop your shovel, it’s a deadly weapon “! His boss grabbed the shovel when he was less then 20 feet from me. His boss sent him off the premises, however I still called the Sheriffs Department, I had no choice but to draw my Ruger Commander 1911, I wanted the “ situation “ on file just in case of any repercussions......none followed.
