Can anyone give me a brief Jazz crash course? Thanks. I doubt it. By a Billie Holiday album and go from there.

I ended up listening to this on YouTube while I was working on the truck. Of course Coltrane came on while I was under there and couldn't change it. 👹

Can anyone give me a brief Jazz crash course? Thanks. Try Lee Morgan. Often his albums started off with, for Jazz anyways, was a "hit." Like The Sidewinder. Very accessible. Not to dismiss Mr. Morgan, he's water from a very deep well. Also Soul Jazz like Jimmy Smith.
