Just posted an update from my area in the daily Chronicle. Should have put it here I suppose. Stay safe Josh, I've been through this too. Things can be replaced, the main thing is that you and your family are safe. Praying for you.

It stayed on a more NNE track instead of NE. We're getting some heavier rain now. But seeing the eye move further away from me takes some weight off of my heart and mind.

I hope so. I sent a message here and emailed him. I have his phone number as well, but that's last resort.
Wind is slowly picking up my way, but nothing worrisome yet.

I have not kept up as much with the details of the storm, but I have been and will continue praying for those in its path. Grace and Protection for Josh, Walt, and others involved

New update for my area. Winds right now are only around 30 mph with some stronger gusts. In a few hours and up until midnight they're predicting 70-90 mph. The eye is supposed to go just north of us. And by just north, I mean within 15 miles. My dad is between Thomasville and Moultrie

In a Joe Bastardi interview, he was talking about this borderline cat 5 hurricane..... we are praying for all those affected, sadly the aftermath is another bad aspect of a storm like that.

He went far north so I'd suspect he is ok. I'm giving him his privacy because I know hes extremely nervous. After this is all over with, and if I dont hear from him on here or in an email, I'll try to call him and check in.

The storm stayed on a more northern track and didnt come this way. The map was wrong, imagine that. Works for me. Still windy here, branches and trees are still breaking and falling.
Putting my phone down for a while. Power is out again and I need to save my battery.
Prayers for everyone that this storm touched. We were lucky

It looked like Walt didnt get as hard as expected. I'm not sure though. No power, no news. Trying to find a car charger for my phone, then it's time to check in on some more folks (Walt included).
3 trees and power lines down on my dad's road. Hard telling when that will be fixed. They're safe though.

Came out to my dads to clear the road. Letting my phone charge in the car. Still no word from Walt. I'll give him a call in a few.
The worst of it stayed west of both of us I believe.
As I came thru town there were accidents everywhere. Every intersection becomes a 4 way stop when power is out. Remember that! Instead of having a police officer at the major intersections, they were standing in line at the gas station waiting for coffee. I'm being serious, I saw it with my own eyes when I stopped to get a car charger.
I'll update again in a few hours

I’m glad to hear you and your dad are safe! Now that you’ve dodged Mother Nature, you have to watch out for human nature.

Hi all...our home appears to have made it through...no power in 97% of Tallahassee, Florida...staying in Kentucky for a while ...no reason to go back with no power...massive devastation just west of us. Hope josh is OK...just now able to log on to WiFi...back on later this evening. In hills of Kentucky...puppy is so stressed...had to take her to vet today. Gave what little gas at the house to neighbor for his generator...I'm not there so I don't need the gas ...no gas in Tallahassee...will bring mine back with me from Kentucky. Hoping all other friends in tall. Are OK...back later to the patch later this evening. Thanks for your prayers..they worked and the Lord kept our home safe...neighbors have lost roofs and are suffering with no power and exposed houses. We will stay in Kentucky for a while til power is restored...may be weeks...been there, done that, too.
