What is your favorite tobacco manufacturer? Mine is Gawith Hoggarth. Try to just pick one ... please.

Ditto for me, Sutliff.

… currently Sutliff as well...

...Sutliff seems to be doing what pipe smokers want... (which is what any business worth it's salt would)... Balkan Supreme, IMHO, is a home-run... I like "Molto Dolce" and several of their other offerings... and now they're doing "kake"... Sutliff/Mac Baren has their "shite" together...

Samuel Gawith but I agree, Sutliff is really stepping up to the plate.

Mine used to be McClelland and you saw how that worked out....
As of now, MacBaren.

...whoever is in charge of Mac Baren (who last I heard, owns Sutliff) knows exactly what they're doing... and they are doing it well...

Hard for me to choose, given the limited choice that I have.
Whilst I like Samuel Gawith and, from what I've tried of Germain's I like it too, I've got to say there's a level of consistency and taste that I love from Peterson blends.
So for me it's Peterson....for now.

I'll through another vote at Gawith, Hoggarth & Co. If I had to go the rest of my life with only blends from on producer, I could happily do so with GH&C.

Five Brothers gets smoked the most, other wise Dunhill for variety.

Samuel Gawith for me. But if some doesnt come in stock soon, that's going to change.
I havent tried the new Sutliff's YET. I also have a few different tins of Red Virginia's that I havent opened the seal on.
Tough question for just 1 answer.

Kohlhase, Kopp the Germans always get it right. Hint their name is not always on the tin as they blend for several others.

I guess for me it would be Russ O's blends. But recently I've been smoking more and more different Sutliff aromatics, so that might change. Then again, it might not change.

If I had to pick one it would be Sutliff. Large variety of quality blends available at affordable prices.
If Cornell and Diehl focused more on bulks and less on tins I would go with them. They get an honorable mention even with inflated tin prices though.

That would be me ^^^^, also...MacBaren is certainly coming out with some outstanding items like HH Burley Flake. We all miss McClelland blends obviously...Esoterica also with their Stonehaven and Penzance....but my all day smoke of Butternut Burley slides in there, too.

MacBaren....HH ODF......need I say more! Sutliff .....all around good bulk blends, now their tin Red Krumble Kake 👍 C&D...some tin tobacco’s but many bulk blends I enjoy GLP Wilke Lane.....for 5 of their tin tobacco’s I really enjoy. I find Lanes bulk blends need a number of years to really enjoy . Burley & Black needs 5 plus year of age for me to appreciate.

Mac Baren. They own Sutliff so they're in the same boat for me.

The pipe tobacco industry has consolidated so much that there aren't too many second-rate players left in the market. It would be easier to name manufacturers that don't produce one of my favorite blends.

Try to just pick one ... please. LOL!! You knew that wasn't going to work! I'd have to join you in G&H ... although picking one is nearly impossible. Revor Plug, Brown Bogie and Dark Birdseye, alone, push the decision their direction.
