I've seen someone mention this blend before. Is it still produced? No it is totally made up...if you want a good chuckle, read Pipestud's review on the TR webpage. Steve's story about the recipe on tobacco reviews is hilarious. Thanks for that.

Wilke is my favorite, though I find myself smoking other blends more these days. Russ O has a ton of blends I like. Tasty Kake and Bengal Slices are the 2 I can't get enough of right now.

Wilke Rumcake is on my shopping list. I haven't tried Bengal Slices, but Fusilier's Ration is good. I assume that they're similar.

Right now, I'd have to say that I am really enjoying Daughters & Ryan tobacco blends, mainly Picayune and Rimboche SJ.

By volume in my cellar, Peretti wins. Their burley blends are consistently my favorite. For VaPers, #8 is king. The English blends are nice, too. And, Scottish Flake (a topped Mclelland Virginia, probably dark navy flake) was hands down my favorite Virginia, of which I have a small stockpile.

Daughters and Ryan tobaccos never disappoint and always satisfy, IMO... the proprietor really ferrets out the best leaf and cures exceptionally well... soooo flavorful and satisfying. I am grateful to JimInks for recommending way back in the day. Both Picayune and TAPS VIP are top favorites of mine. Strong, tangy, sweet, spicy, perfect burn...

Kohlhase & Kopp is an amazing company. Let's not forget the other German mfg, Dan Tobacco (DTM). Quality tobaccos!

Ya gotta admit..he did nice artwork on a spam can. He will be in Vegas...everyone needs to ask him if he has any Lamb Slices. I need to call Steve and see if he has any in his cellar.๐

I think D&R flies under a lot of radars also. I am letting most of mine age, certainly drier than most other blenders.

I have favorite blends, but they span numerous categories & manufacturers. My favorite blend at the moment is from Tabac Manil.

...Sutliff seems to be doing what pipe smokers want... (which is what any business worth it's salt would)... Balkan Supreme, IMHO, is a home-run... I like "Molto Dolce" and several of their other offerings... and now they're doing "kake"... Sutliff/Mac Baren has their "shite" together... Calling "foul" on myself... Balkan Supreme is Arango, not Sutliff. See what happens when you get old?

No requirement for dead or alive so it's McClelland hands down. It's why we cellar.
