We get it move on as we really don't care. What we do care about is this thread and don't want to start it from scratch.

I slept less than 2 hours of broken sleep last night. Don’t know how I’m functioning as well as I am. In a while going to visit my two youngest granddaughters and take them out for waffle cones and the ice cream of their choice👌👍👍. That’s what keeps me going!

Have you guys ever tried the CBD products? Forgive me if it's been discussed.
I'm the worst when it comes to sleeping or keeping a normal sleep schedule. I ate two gummies last night and was snoring an hour later. Felt great this morning. I feel like I haven't had a solid night like that in awhile.

I’ve yet to try any THC oils.......any of you “ insomniacs “ have any luck with better sleep with pain as well!?!?!?

Ted I have not tried hurting myself for a better nights sleep. Of course I don't need any more help in the pain dept and that is the root of sleeping problems. I don't take any sleep medication as I don't need another pill. Being a natural night owl is easy its like a second wind.

I think I'm back to normal, I've slept at least 6 hours a night for 3 straight days. (not trying to rub it in) I'll enjoy it for the next week and then I get my steroid shots next Tuesday so I'll be back to little sleep again.

Enjoy your sleep now and tell your doctor that the type of steroid injection you had last time played havoc with your sleep habits. Wishing you all the best👍👍👍

The muscle cramps and spasms I can do without. I went through a 4 day period if I moved I would cramp up somewhere.

Last night I achieved almost two hours of sleep. When I worked there were times I needed to stay awake, which might be one of the three main reasons I now sleep even less. Tonight a 12.5 Ambien ER but even that might not help much.
If/when THC or CBD oils are legalized here in NC where the doctors can write prescriptions I’m stuck for now. What Amazon and my local pharmacy sells OTC now does nothing for me, guess I need a much stronger dose.

Ah there you are. Wide awake and listening to some music on my Grados got me a giant cup of mud with cream. Crashed right after dinner last night and got up at 12:30. Playing some video games and listening to music. Need to take my meds but I think I will wait till momma gets up and choke em down with some eggs.

Sometimes the cannabinoids have to build up in your body before they start to take effect. There was one bloke back in the day who said he smoked over a dozen times before he got high.

elric..........Were they a full extract CBD oil? What’s sold here OTC and what’s sold online is not full extract......it’s garbage! It’s about time CBD & THC is federally legalized so doctors can write prescriptions for those patients that suffer with pain. I know this from a doctor friend back on Long Island that explained some States where it’s been legalized for medical purposes many doctors still will not write a script because it’s still “ federally “ not legal. Doctors are afraid of possible ramifications from the government in the future.

Doctors are afraid of possible ramifications from the government in the future. From my experience, doctors are slowly coming around. For a few years I had some rather intense interactions with the pain clinic doctors over cannabis. [That's when I wish that I could give them my nerve pain for a day. I don't think most of them have a clue how distressing it is] They threatened to withdraw their services at one point. The public hospitals are hopeless but last year when I spent a week in the small local Catholic Health run hospital, the doctors were really good. They indicated that it would be a good idea for all concerned that I maintain my self-medication regime. What a pleasant change. I'm not happy that I'm illegally alive with decreased pain but for me, it's an easy choice.

trazadone helps me sleep and my pain meds work well with it. Mike, I was on 300mg of trazadone for two months, did not help me at all. But I do know a number of people that it does help quite a bit in conjunction with their other medications. Glad your one of the lucky one’s 👍👌👍 I have “ small fiber poly neuropathy “, can be extremely painful at times and already destroyed two of my organs.

Well, with less then 4 hours of sleep in the past five days, last night I had to do something drastic!! So, took 2 Ambien and 1 100mg Benadryl gel tab with my pain meds. Guess it’s like playing Russian roulette, but I slept just over 5 hours straight.....no tossing and turning as well.
This morning I feel so much better. I know, can’t do the pill thing often, but drastic times I must take drastic measures!!!
Hope ALL others slept well👍👍👍

Glad you got some rest, Ted. Now you can celebrate the Fourth with enthusiasm and vigor! I was so glad to see that this thread was not locked down or renamed the CBD thread.🤡

I've been falling asleep better by using my Sleep phones, they rank about a 4 on the fidelity scale out of 10, but being a soft headband (looks like a sweat headband exercise people use), I sometimes wake up with them still on.

I had success with a tincture of CBD and Melatonin. Expensive but worked well enough.

Wide awake in the swamp 77/89% despite two showers today I still feel sticky. Neuropathy is much better than it was on the fourth allowing for a great four hour nap before the slack jawed yokels started in again with fireworks. Neuropathy is not conducive to good sleep that's for sure and I refuse to take Lyrica as it makes me walk around in fog like state.
