Found this in an article about “Remember back in the 70’s when you could?” And smoking on an airplane was one of them I do remember that, and after I stopped smoking cigs, I was really aware of the smoke from the rear of the cabin being circulated to the front. Too bad we couldn't have stopped at a reasonable mid point: No smoking on planes or in hospitals or churches, but fine in bars and restaurants who o.k.'ed it. Most bars and clubs in Pennsylvania still permit smoking. I believe the rule is that if a bar makes a certain amount(the majority) of its profit from food, it becomes a restaurant and it is no longer allowed. That makes sense to me. Trying to eat a salad with your kids next to a smoldering cigar is probably not a great experience for most. haha |

I recently changed mine to comply with the Mugshots thread, as this was taken on a 48ft boat our friends chartered for two weeks, we got to share it with them on their second week , in the British Virgin Islands about 5 years ago

It would be great to see it on the big screen again... the number of well known actors in a single film, I don’t think has ever been matched.
The quality of actors and actresses far surpasses what I see today... just my opinion.

Went back on several months ago only to get a PM from a guy who said that I gave him a "zinger". I looked up zinger to find out that it meant "a mind insult". So I won't go back there. |

It’s not what I generally use for my avatar but I was not in the best health, or spirits, at the time I was choosing it. When I saw it I was reminded of a quip I’d use at work when someone looked like they were going to go into a tirade over what I told them was wrong with the piece of equipment I was sent over to check, when I saw this look kind of roaming around on their face I’d simply look straight at them and say “if you’re feeling froggy, leap”, it made me smile remembering that so I placed it up as my avatar.

It is a picture of a 1970-80s Bjarne freehand. The second or maybe third freehand I purchased. It represents a life long passion for freehands from many schools of thought, including interpretations of traditional shapes to the exotics.

It's an advertising figurine for Orlik, back when they sold pipes in reasonable quantity, and pipe shops still existed in England and Wales.
