Yorkshire Black Tea.
I understand that Yorkshire Gold is even more robust. So, I ordered some along with a UK made Blue Betty Pot and a cozy. Starting off the New Year with support for the auld sod. Hopefully, the post BREXIT Britain will see a re-birth of British manufacturing and a return to the days when "Made in the U.K." was a source of pride.

Club soda with a splash of cranberry juice. No vodka, but that is ok.

I had a small glass of a beaujolais nouveau yesterday. I just don't feel like drinking much anymore.

I had a small glass of a beaujolais nouveau yesterday. I just don't feel like drinking much anymore. I used to enjoy the new wine. Don't see it often here anymore since the Alsatian French restaurant and market closed down. A little red wine is good for you! Enjoy.

Wild Turkey 101, Neat. It is cold and I am as stiff and sore as can be. This helps. Lubricant?

Pusser's Gunpowder Proof rum on the rocks. Pussers is good stuff. I drink the regular, too old for the high test!

Just got in out of the cold and had a bite of supper. I think I'm gonna go in, kick my boots off, kick back and have a short Buffalo Trace before bed.

Rock-N-Rye on the rocks with a few wild blueberries and a couple of orange slices. I have not seen Rock and Rye since the 1970s. I did not know it was still produced.

The secret is the horehound candy a old fashion flavor. I always grab a couple of sticks at Cracker Barrel if we go there to eat. One dried apricot, a close, dash of orange cello, dash of lime bitters, and pinch of cinnamon and of course Rye.

No Cracker Barrel restaurants in this area.I like your recipe and will have to try it.

Brought home a bottle of Jim Beam "Repeal Batch" Bourbon. This is commemorates repeal of The Volstead Act and is similar to what their distillery first issued once back in business after a 13 year hiatus.
"As for how it tastes, Beam says that the bourbon is aged four years, similar to its traditional offering, but is non-chill filtered, leading to a fuller mouthfeel and enhanced flavors of char and oak."
While testing at 86 proof, which is little light for my taste, I thought to give it a try. On the whole, I like Beam products for their reasonable price and decent quality. At $14.99 I saw little downside. Their "Devil's Cut" is a favorite of mine.

Jim Beam "Repeal Batch" Bourbon. As described above. Neat. Not bad. Nothing special. I do not suggest running out to buy a bottle. However, at $14.99, a fair buy when at the market.
Cold here. Some lubrication required.

Stoli. Moved into our new last house 2 days ago. New roof being installed, painters, cabinet/counter makers, plumbers etc. I deserve it in quantities. Lady cabinet/counter owner called it our frog house. The one I croak in.
