The wife has had two bad days at work in a row - so I'm having a bottle of wine with some cheese we bought on last weeks trip to Wisconsin.
The cheese is great. Snowfields Butterkäse. It's only made ~3 months out of the year - during the winter when the fields are covered with snow. During this time the cows are feed hay that was cut and wrapped in plastic during the summer. Apparently the hay ferments a bit in the summer heat - so the milk/cheese takes on a unique flavor.
The wine isn't much to rave about. Something the wife bought at a "wine party" she attended last fall.

I've been thinking the same thing.

Not in a glass, drinking a bottle of Coors Banquet beer. I actually consume very limited alcohol, but I cooked in the sun out there today, and sometimes an ice cold beer is the only thing that'll set things right.

I don't drink beer very often but when I do I really enjoy it. Nothing like it after mower the lawn or replacing shingles.

A full can of Fosters. I spent the day building fence, and while I'm not much of a drinker, I agree with bigwoolie. It was hot!

2 fingers of Chivas 12 in a plastic cup. I hope it was a clear, high class, plastic cup.

I am sorry to say that it was a small, translucent thin plastic cup from the Dollar Store. 😕 All of our crystal is at the old house waiting to be packed. A Glencairn glass improves the whisky 4 years. Waterford tumbler adds a decade. The Dollar Store cup makes it taste like bottom shelf swill.

I am drinking a big mug of blue butterfly pea tea from Thailand. A little lemon and honey. Not much flavor to it but it's an amazing color.

Just finished a mid-afternoon ice cold Voodoo Ranger IPA in a glass!
Man, that tasted good on a hot afternoon. I have had it on hand since last summer, LOL! I guess beer drinking is not high enough on my list of activities. THat might have to change.

Unsweetened iced tea with some mint and orange slices. Third huge glass today after working in the garden. Tonight will be some sake with a sushi dinner

Worked all day on homemade wine, then sat down and had a couple of Bud Lights. We can I say.
