We have OnePlus Pro 7 phones and we are very happy with them. You couldn't pay me to take an Apple phone. My brain does not speak Apple. Intuitive my arse.

Got my flu shot and a B-12 while at the Dr.'s office...headed home to an overcast day...keepin' an eye on the tropics as we have another storm coming in our general direction.

Work (traffic tickets, no complaints because speeders pay the bills), painting the final section of fence in between calls, Buccaneer in a half-bent algerian briar (medium grade), then one more gallon of primer from the hardware store after work. Next up, put a roof on the patio. That may require another couple of beers.

Another fun filled day, helped the neighbor with his Ford that will not go into gear he needs a cable. Stuck in a video game so I looked online and it appears I am doing it right Wolfenstein the new Colossus is really more like a movie than regular shoot em up. I no longer watch sports but the Texans fired Bill Buttface O’Brien the best decision the team has made in years. The falls at Twin Falls Idaho are running full and friend sent a picture they really look good this year.

The trailer and the truck are stuffed to the gills so that I needed my wife to help me close the ramp/tailgate/Hatch. So glad I upgraded the trailer tires. The small trailer is hooked up to the trike and it will probably be stuffed before we hit the road tomorrow.

This will be the 4th storm to hit the La/Miss/Al. border... oldcajun, pappyjoe and others in this area...forecast is to be a cat.4 storm at landfall. While I'm out of the cone of uncertainty my prayers will be with you and your kinfolk.

Just woke up and I have a bunch of new muscle aches. Can't use my left arm at all. I think I'll just stay in the bed for a while.

As for me, no smoking the last week nor foreseeable future. I was in the N.M. Mountains last week @ 9000 ft. Thought I had altitude sickness, home is 3100ft. By Wednesday, smoking wasn’t doing much for me, I think I quit that eve, but don’t clearly remember. Long and short of it, I got home Friday evening, pretty much a wreck. Monday morning, my wife and I both tested positive for COVID. This after we’ve been very careful, limiting exposure, wearing masks, etc. The good news is that while we are both symptomatic, it could be much worse. Our Doc is on top of it, we are quarantining at home, taking meds, drinking lots of fluids (not Laphroiag), and trying to balance getting a little work done without falling over. But no smoking; it doesn’t even sound good. Bottom line, this is really weird stuff, it messes with your mind as well as your body. It is not to be trifled with; anyone who claims differently is at best incredibly ill informed and at worst a lying fool. You know the worst part? Besides the obvious COVID possibilities? I’m missing the best smoking weather of the year, now that is a bummer. I’ll keep you all posted. No need for responses BTW, I trust you all wish us the best!

Kelly, you and your wife need to just rest. Take it easy and take your meds. Try to get a little sun and walk a little to keep your blood circulation going.
