Actually, the spouse and I broke the law, willful disregard is what we call it, and spent the day with the daughter, son in law, and grandson...and the two grand dogs. It was wonderful, with wonderful food and a new board game after dinner. Ended with apple tart. Nice day.

Son same in from Houston, Oldest son and his family couldn’t make it, Son from Houston’s twin sister opted out not to come, they have careers that would put us in jeopardy. Oldest son kidded you’re breaking the law, I replied 🙀💩, and left it at that . It’s Black Friday, I guess all the people in their nice cars in line for boxes of free food will be breaking the doors down for bargins, I’m shaking my head as I type this, DONT mind helping people but this sucks.

Black Friday. Just about the worst day you could pick, in a pandemic, to go out among the roiling masses. Especially here in Nebraska which skated for a long time but is now really hit hard. So I sit here at the big round oak dining table and puff my Roma churchwarden while scribbling on a semi-project I started a while back. Tentatively called SO YOU THINK YOU WANT A DOG. Mostly tips and reminiscences from a lifetime of living with canis domesticus. Slow and easy. No hurry at all. Just the way I like it.

Nice rainy day but that's ok I am being lazy anyway. Wife had to go in for the secure server and I hope she comes home early. After going out yesterday the crowds were small vs last year at the restaurants making for a easy commute to waterway haunts. Not going shopping as we don't need a darn thing as momma and meself got the new shoes we wanted last month from the independent shoe shop run by one hard working man.

In the front of the house putting up Christmas lights. It's worth it once they are up, put a pain in the butt getting them up. 😀

Just hanging out with the family today. Some of the boys are out riding right now, the girls are playing guitars in the living room, Shweetie is watching an animated movie in the bedroom with the grand babies and Im having a quiet cigar down by the wood stove.
I think some shooting is on tap for later, and a whole lot of eating. Weve already finished 5 pots of coffee, but there are 10 adults in the house, so I'd say that's about right. 😁

Today is the wife's birthday. We didn't do anything special today, but we will make up for it. I spent the day cutting and pulling vines off the trees. I hate vines!

Glad to hear that that you are getting your wheels replaced. We had a 2000 Altima, that was a nice car, but the telephone pole won over my teen age son’s lack of ability to keep his foot off the accelerator. My Frontier is a 2012, and I cannot overstate what a great vehicle it has been. Nissan makes a solid car, and you let someone else take the kick in the butt on depreciation...win, win!

I bought a Datsun 510 brand new in 1973. It was a great car but needed an overdrive. Four wheel independent suspension, front disc brakes, overhead cam engine of MBZ design.

Work was super slow all day. Glad I decided to bring my Nintendo switch got to play around a lot between that and the phone it made the slow times bearable. I think I did like 12 delivery’s. I normally do something like 32 or so.

They wanted way over retail to but it after the lease ran out. I had just put new KO2s on it too. But the fact is that it's a small truck that was under powered and got lousy gas mileage. I am so much happier with the RAM. I suppose they have a better engine now.

A buddy called today, he lives in a remote part of Australia. Brilliant! I had a busy week. Churches are closed again for 2 weeks so we're back to full online, which I don't mind so much where workload is concerned, but there were a few meetings to get through before things locked down again. It's a gorgeous day here though...Sun is shining and it's crispy cold...I love days like this. It's a perfect day for lunting, but now my girls are up, I'm not sure that'll happen.

You did make home made bread after all Paddy. With that delicious aroma waffling around the house I’d be up too! Have a great day brother and enjoy your steak and kidney pie!

Ive spent my morning getting tobacco packages ready, and then ammo shopping. I scored 100 9mm and 50 5.56 rounds for $72. That was the daily limit per customer. I stopped by the bank, grabbed cash and sent my dad and step mom up for more. It cost me a box of .380s for my dad, but that's ok!
The rest of the day will be spent putting a new radiator fan motor on (30 minutes), pipes and Thanksgiving dinner #2

I also made lemon drizzle cake which turned out well too. There's bit much left, which means that bergen my wife and I, I've eaten about 90g of sugar and 90g of butter 😱 That's the problem when you're making things yourself - you know exactly what's in it. I'd rather be in blissful ignorance.

Cold with a wintery mix today; high is supposed to be only 39 F. To translate for the folks here who use the Celsius scale, that's colder than a baboon's butt in a blizzard.
