Come on over and I'll let you use it. ๐๐ค I have 720 square feet of CD plywood to make white. How would you do it? I would pay an out of work painter in beer while ai smoke a bowl. No out of work painters around here. The few we have are booked 3 months ahead.

You really can't roll or brush the rough plywood. Too many splinters and knots. I just want to make it brighter before I move my tools in. If it works, fine, if it doesn't, oh well. You know best. Sprayer is fine. certainly faster. Did you consider wall paper? My old mother was the queen of wallpaper when she was young and I was small. She could do a room up in no time and was neat about it. She loved the stuff.ย You could have found some with choo-choo trains or maybe horses..... I actually thought about doing one wall with a scenic mural wallpaper, but I really don't have the time. And it is a shop/barn anyway. I have to unload the tools, cabinets and work benches and get back to Humble for one more load. Supposed to close this week, but they found an issue that we don't have time to get fixed, unless our agent comes up with a miracle. I can spray 2 gallons of paint per hour, and it's so much easier than rolling. Covers better too.

Purdy makes a roller for that look ten ft to the right of the discount garbage. www.purdy.com/I have used those rollers before. If I was a younger man maybe, but the weight of the roller loaded with latex is very tiring after a few minutes for an old man like me.

I guess you are not far enough to the southwest to find a Vato Mural Painter to memorialize one wall with low riders, banditos and Adelitas??

Got some running and errands done today, including getting a new 20" chain for the Stihl saw and a couple gallons of fuel mixed up.
I guess I know what Im doing tomorrow

Long day, nothing bad just busy. From the looks of things this is my new normal. As much as I enjoy my job, that thought makes me miss life on the farm as a kid doing the kinds of chores you do Dewayne, Except the horse work. We had a horse, a couple cows, and my pony, but I wasn't but a green preteen and teenager when I had access to horses.
But I do miss living in the country more and more every day.

Big improvement. Could use a second coat.... just saying...... It makes a big difference. I wish I had painted my shop before moving everything in. I insulated and panelled it but did not paint. Consequently, it is dark.

Also, that's why I tried to get Ron Powell to paint the inside of his shop before he moved his equipment in, but he didn't have time.

Ron what are you going to use the space for? Parking and working on the trike, wood working projects, reloading, gunsmithing, and pipe restoration. Plus whatever else I want to do. ๐๐ค I am going to frame a 9x14 shop in the corner for the smaller work.

Fruitful day. Took the wife to a couple of appointments. Bought a handgun. Got a great deal. Stopped by to see my oldest son for a moment. Got the oil changed and tires rotated on both vehicles.

Ronv69 Paint job looks good Ron. Spray painting works great for big jobs. I've found if the job isn't big enough, the masking and sprayer clean up is more work than just going at it with a brush or roller. If you don't do a thorough job cleaning the sprayer, it won't work the next time. I used to have a huge deck that I'd have to paint every ~3 years. Eventually I quit masking and just had someone hold large pieces of cardboard in place and move them as I sprayed.

Eventually I quit masking and just had someone hold large pieces of cardboard in place and move them as I sprayed. This was a cheap HVLP sprayer that worked very well. I don't have anyone to hold the cardboard for me. My wife had end of month work and my son was down with a migraine. I am used to doing stuff by myself. My wife cleaned up the sprayer for me. ๐๐ค My next deck is going to be that recycled plastic boards that last forever with no maintenance. With the lumber prices climbing it doesn't cost much more.

Smart move, Ron.
Even with the mild California weather, treating the redwood deck was a royal pain.

Spent some time cleaning pipes today. These are mostly Ebay purchases. Now "sweetening" the bowls with brandy soaked cottonballs.

Are Chip and Johanna Gaines coming by to decorate it with a barn door, piece of windmill and shiplap, musty books and mason jars. Inquiring minds want to know.

But did you get any ammo for it? Not for it, but got 100 rounds of 40 cal dirt cheap. Winchester factory 40 cal, 180gr FMJ for only $16.96/box! Limit 1 box! So my wife bought a box too. Got plenty of 9mm - and enough supplies to reload another 1500. More if I could get more small pistol primers.

Cold day. +5 degrees this morning. Day high of 20 degrees with a nice fresh breeze. Wind Chill must be around 12 degrees. Just came in from chopping the ice out of the stock tanks so they can get a drink. Enjoying a hot Rye Toddy to recover!
