I like the house Ron. Paddy I take collect calls from members of the cloth but now you know chocolate milk does not come directly from the cow. After leaving the life of ranching slash farming I never looked back. But the people who do it are the salt of the earth. Spent the day laughing with friends and had a free lunch to top it off. Few things top laughing till you cry over a couple of cups of coffee. Unless you live in a town with more than fifty thousand folks don't expect much in the way of advanced medical services as the local tax base can not afford to operate a trauma hospital. I already know who I am voting for and me and Trumpy Bear are not talking about it as we cling to our bible and guns. So I wont be putting up any signs on the fence there is no room LEFT. Some of those new mowers on the market look like big fun to operate.

Ron I have a Troybuilt zero turn, 54 inch cut under 4000$, good mower, son has a Gravely zero turn, I cut his lawn a while back when he went on vacation, looks like his is built better, they save time and I like them, they even make them with a stearing wheel if the regular controls confuse the wife. Nice place.

Yeah cause you can figure eights and donuts and 360 and other cool stuff. Nothing runs like a Deere or lasts longer. I used to mow with push mower when we still had the big house. Even being self propelled it was a work out. Then when they did my neck surgery I was not allowed to sweat and we hired a crew and after I healed up we kept them and I grew fatter. All that is left of the yard tools is the Dolmar weed wacker and a Stihl chain saw. I hope you plan on paying someone to move you up the hill. Also please buy all new boxes it makes it so much easier to deal with.

It truly looks like a civilized and comfortable place. I like the trees and the general layout. The house looks to be big enough but not too much to care for. I think you found a winner.

Left the ranch at sunrise with my dog Cricket to track a particular stallion. About 5 miles into the search Cricket alerted me something was wrong. Got off my horse and took my 1894 along just in case. Cricket took me over a ridge, there it was. A painted colt, very young and obviously injured. I was able to cut and clean two trees and strap my bedroll so I could take the colt back to the ranch. My Palomino has done this a few times prior, no issues with this young colt on the way back, it was a slow trip back to the barn. Only thing I did out in the field was clean his wounds and tranquilize for his comfort on the ride back. I’ll be sleeping in the barn a few nights so no smoking a pipe. I named the colt Sajack, he’s a keeper! Now with the help of God and excellent medical attention he has a 75% of full recovery.
If any of you are animal lovers please keep Sajack in your Prayers, thank you in advance.

Momma got me a really nice stainless 12oz Starbucks Travel mug and some Komodo Dragon for VD day. Got my meds picked up. The new Walgreens is much better than the old one we were using. Momma has bronchitis and stopped at the quick care on the way home. I am going to my doctor on Monday for the same cough and get some blood work done. Made momma a appointment as well so she can get a shot and good cough syrup that they would not give her today at the quick care. Cleaned the freezer of all the ice build up and threw everything out of the fridge that has been open to long and wiped everything down with Lysol. Finished burning music files to mini 2tb hard drive for my friend Jett and another one for his dad. Fixed the sagging RV door with some stainless steel washers on the worn aluminum hinges. And my new knife got here today. Whew that's a busy day for a beat up old man with a cane and a cough.

Disappointed. Owner refused our offer. I guess it just wasn't meant to be. We will take a break and start looking again in a few months. We had a nice 10 days in the country. Met some wonderful people and made a couple of new friends.

Looking is half the fun anyway so just keep at it and you will find a nice place at a fair price.

Welp, back to Miami again....damn short stay at home this time, but brother is being sent home now that he is half alive...still on dialysis 3 X a week...good news is that Medicare pays for my end of the transplant, if accepted...guess we'll have to wait and see. Won't be on, unless I can get a wifi setup down there. Prayers gratefully accepted...thanks Patchers all!!

Your brother is on course for a forced landing in Glory. You have my deepest sympathy as one who has witnessed this, too, many times. I hope you are able to spend all remaining time together. What ever frictions, transgressions, irritations, annoyances, etc. your brother presented, soon they will not matter. You will not see him again this side of Glory. The weight, the moment, the importance of this time is not lost on me nor most of our brothers here. I wish you all the best.

Thanks, John and all my other brothers here on the Patch...hoping that if we can get a match made and donate the kidney....he may have a few more years left. If I can be the source of him living on for another 5 years or so, I am glad to do it for him. Glad all our differences have been sorted out and we can finally be good for each other.

Bought a new kitchen faucet and being the worlds worst plumber I will need all the prayers I can get. Spent 120 bones at walley world on cleaning supplies, a new garden hose spryer. a ten foot hose to I don't have to disconnect the main hose when I flush the tanks and some teeth paste as me and momma have our teeth and I derive pleasure in brushing each one. Toothpaste implies you are down to one tooth am I right. Coughing my lungs out today and going to doc on Monday. Me and the dog are sharing a Hersheys bar and chocolate might not cure the cough but it tastes good. Poured three fingers of Knob Hill for the cough it wont cure it but it will make me feel better. Left the keys in the truck and ran down the battery and I sure was grateful that we keep a battery charger on hand and it started right up this morning.

To those that responded to my post concerning Sajack........ he’s on the mend. Slept in the stall with him and Cricket two nights now, another night should do it. Cricket curls up and sleeps under Sajacks head, they definitely bonded already. Now all I have to do is stop Cricket from feeding so many carrots to Sajack. Last night Cricket went to his treat feeder and gave Sajack a dog bone.........that sealed the deal. This painted colt is not for sale at any price.
Going to be busy towards the end of the week, a Morgan foal from an outstanding bloodline back from the Cavalry period will be born. Both the Stallion and Mare are dark chestnut, this should be a beautiful foal.

I was off line yesterday..Re-arranging Furniture in the computer room..That required getting a smaller computer table, and adding a TV.Also disconnecting a bunch of wires and hooking them back..My son did all of that..It's far beyond what my old brain can cope with..Any way everything is back up and running and my wife can now watch TV while she's using the computer.

Just started the kitchen faucet and both hands are bleeding and the old one is removed. The wife just left on a mission from God to go get two adapters from either Lowes or Home Depot a good 12 or 20 miles away. I was going to install the new faucet while she did that. But previous knowledge prevailed that she would have to show them what is to what x2 fittings. Oh sure I could have wrote down exactly what I needed but I know that you know that I know that is not going to work. This will give me enough time for my heart rate to go down and not endanger anyone in the general public.

Sorry to hear about your house offer being declined, Ronv69. There'll be a better one for you. In the manse we have a deere mower. It needs a wee trial soon. The grass will get untidy soon.

A nice looking house, it looks like the cable/ phone lines are pretty low across the driveway, be careful in a bobtail truck...(it may be an optical illusion though). It looks like good grazing, maybe a couple head of cattle?

This is what happens when I am absent and respond too far back checking in. God opens and closes doors as he deems appropriate, the right house will come along in due time, Ron. After three phone calls Lowes does not have the fitting and I don't need Jose the plumber to come and fix my plumbing. I just need a adapter for the love of all that is good in this world. 3/8 male 24 unef to 1/2 male 20 unef. My bride is now in route to Home Depot.

Plumbing sucks, there is a reason that plumbing companies charge so much...I am fortunate to know n apartment maintenance man that can do everything, and is very inexpensive. Having a Lowe's a half mile away and a Home Depot 2 miles away doesn't hurt...but if I need anything I typically go to Ace Hardware, three miles away.

I know that Saturdays limits your options, but a mom and pop plumbing store during the week is pure gold...big box stores are a pain in the butt, but then again they are open when mom and pops are not.

Agree but my mom and pop store closes early and I had to take it loose to find out what fitting I needed. They also close on Sunday so the employees can go to church, The only carry the best brands and I don't mind paying extra. The next closest real store is over by Rons house and they have one of everything. My bride is now returning after going to three big box stores.

No, I totally get it.
Been there done that, got the T-shirt. These problems never take place on the schedule of convenience.... it sucks when you have to be a wandering gypsy on the weekend to the big box stores, but at least they are there.
I recently ordered a thermocouple, same day delivery on Amazon faster than I could get anywhere else.... first world problems when you really think about it... still, I feel for you... plumbing work sucks.

Success new faucet installed and not leaking and as a added bonus I even hooked up the hot and cold correctly. Not easy the PEX is the same color. As a precaution I will install the cabinet door tomorrow. Thanks for reading my adventure in plumbing and stay tuned for more adventures as we install a new Thetford Aria toilet in the coming weeks.
