you're in good company. 😉 You're so far ahead that I don't see how you have time to write your sermons. 🤔🤠

The Rodeo starts today and goes for over 2 weeks. Sold out 2.5 million tickets. Already started with the cutting horses. This as the rest of the world is shutting down all public gatherings. So far we haven't had any Covid-19 in the wild in Texas. Of course, people come from all over the world to buy semen and embryos so we will probably have it by the end.

Or if I'm in the car driving to the hospital, I would maybe have a quick check before I get out of the car in the car park... Stuff like that. Plus, most of my posts are in the evening when my day work is finished. And rather than watch TV, I would pop over here.

Id love to attend that rodeo one day, but I reckon it'll never happen. I do plan on hitting the Pendelton Roundup this year. As for coronavirus, by the numbers it seems that I'm more likely to catch the flu, and the flu is more likely to kill me (shrug). So life goes on.

Gotta agree with you, Dewayne! Unless you are trapped in a crowd with someone infected or hacking/blowing their nose...I'd say it has a slim chance of getting you.

The professional cattle people have their thing mostly behind the scenes, and there is the public spectacle with the top music acts, the kids calf scrambles and sheep riding, etc. They have the saddle bronk, bareback, bull riding, calf roping, bulldoging, cutting horse and other things, but the preliminary rounds are mostly behind the scenes. The livestock show is something that you could spend the entire 3 weeks and not see if all.

I have been a lot. When I was a kid we went every year to the Houston Coluseum, then the Astrodome. Now it's at NRG Stadium where the Texans play. In the 70s my brother was president of the Membership Committee, and he didn't have time to go to most of the shows. He let me use his car with the parking pass to park in the committee lot next to the door, sit in the private members box with waiters bringing us food and drinks. It was great, but it spoiled me to go as a plain citizen. We took my son once but he didn't care for it. My wife had to take a couple of dozen disabled adults to the rodeo. She would have been the all time champ for herding cats. She is so happy not to have to do it any more.

A very pleasant pipe (Proper English/Tompkins Plateau) in a very unpleasant B&M cigar shop (Jerry's on N. Oracle).
There is quite a lovely barnyard note to the aroma of this Stokkebye blend!

Is that shop in Tucson? Yes. The lounge itself is pleasant enough, but the people...ugh. It reaffirms my gratitude that I can smoke at home and not have to rely on such places to try and relax; not that there even are such places in Hitler’s Bunker, BC.

Another overcast day here in Tally...weather channel promising that we are going to have thunderstorms for the rest of the week. Glad to be on my porch with my pipes!

Dense fog and rainy mist my favorite as long as it is not hot. Good coffee at the desk as I work on sharpening the kitchen knives. Chicago Cutlery from the 80s not sure if the new stuff is any good. But these have never rusted and they are not stainless. Boring stuff.

So glad for you, Josh! Bout time you started feeling proud of yourself for all your accomplishments...and beautiful children, too.
Hope you get to feeling better, Marty...we are all pulling for you to get better...hopefully the Drs can do something for you besides bill you for astronomical fees.

Tried that too many times...found I was doing more damage than good...found a great guy with a square belt sander that does the job in minutes and sharp as can be!

Used the ride-on mower for the first time ever this afternoon. Was fun to use. Takes a freakin age to do all the grass round this house. It was a nice day for a change. Still a bit cold, but sunny.
I might venture a pipe next time I mow the lawn, but my drooling will be my downfall.
