Congratulations on your 1,000 days, Josh...and you have a beautiful bunch of children who thank you for that as we also do. You have a great future ahead for you even when it seems bleak...you carry on and that is what makes you the MAN you are today.

And people wonder why I like Italian cars and motorcycles. I particularly like Lambrusco and Moto-Guzzis.

Picked up the laundry and had a genuine 7/11 Slurpee not a easy task as there are not very many 7/11 stores around this neck of the woods. The store had 16 flavors on tap. Do you know how handy that would be in few months. I mean sweltering heat that makes you sweat standing still. that my friends is Slurpee time.

A cold, rainy and dark day. 48 degrees was the day high and dropping down to 42 just now.
Not much for being outside for more than chores.

Our gas station/convenience store has a Slurpee machine. There is nothing better when one is overheated during summer than a pint or two at the liquid/frozen line. That will drop my core temperature in minutes. Maybe seconds.

No slurpee here either...unless you consider my usual slobbering when I drink coffee...

I gotta go back into Spokane today. My daughter and grandbabies are coming in tomorrow for a visit, and Im short a mattress. Gotta go to hell-mart and get one of those memory foam mattress in a box.
On the good side, I found a .44 mag at a pawnshop across the street for a really good price. They were holding it for me until my new WA state dl came in. Its in, so I get to pick that up today too.

Thanks, Rev. Paddy, it is truly a masterpiece and the best looking pipe I have at this point in my collection. I'm almost afraid to load it up with tobacco...think I'll just sit here and admire it for a while.
