China has been able to slow the spread. However, they have used the most draconion measures imaginable short of firebombing communities. I hope that is not what it takes to stop the spread in the rest of the world.

Cut grass and picked up limbs all day, smoked 2 good cigars, It’s all good, people going crazy, they don’t know 💩, at 15 I picked up people off rooftops, bashing snakes while Dad went alongside so they could jump on the boat, 2 weeks later we picked up bodies and laided them in Cameron ice house. Sherriff shot dead a man cutting a woman’s finger off to get her rings, fast forward to S Asia, things I saw I won’t talk about. This ain’t 💩, stay home, be smart, Americans will prevail, My uncle stayed in a foxhole with 2 dead Germans, water up to his belt, couldn’t get out, sniper in bell tower, Patton’s tank finally blew it up. That’s real💩. GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Ugh... I got my 20 oz of Voodoo Queen today, but the UPS man also dropped off my timing belt, water pump, and vtech plugs. Sooo who wants to come do this for me?
Normally I'd jump right in it and have it done quick, but I think I'm going to put off until tomorrow

Fun stuff. New Mexico just closed all public schools for three weeks. Having to figure out how to cover this. 🤔

As was forecast, rain and snow, alternating, this morning. Snow sticking to the ground. Winter will not let go.

Yesterday was crazy here with the wind. Today there's not a breeze and the sun is shining. Still not that warm though, but it's pleasant.

Never thought you were afraid of it I just know what a pain in the butt these things can be, and having a helping hand or even just someone to talk to whilst you do it can make a difference.

Battling a budding bronchitis for some time now, timing's not the best, obviously. Been feeling a bit better, but still laying off the pipe. It's for the best, although I'd love to have a bowl with my evening reading. So just working on some of the estates laying around here instead.
On a more positive note, I realized that I am only one pipe away from having a "century" collection of Dunhill production: I've got at least one pipe from each decade, starting in the 20s, save for the present one. Something I've set upon 6 years ago as a "goal" of sorts.

Supposed to start snowing here today, hopefully it will rain instead, we need the moisture. On another note: Two evenings ago a water main burst in our small town. Water in most of the town was shut off and the city crews repaired it in a few hours, but because of the breach we are under a mandatory boil order until the KDHE can test the water throughout the system to assure it is not contaminated. It will likely be sometime Sunday before the results are in. So, wash your hands frequently, but don't use the water. I'm grateful for a large stock pot.

Going to another county anything is possible. Also, if you go out in the sticks you might stop at a station that filled their tanks 2 months ago.

Off to get the taxes done this morning and get some makings for vittles. Woke up sweaty looks like it is almost summer time in the swamp. Darn shame as momma bought me a new pair of sheep skin moccasins I am dying to try out. I even shaved off the beard and i don't remember it being that grey the last time I shaved, whenever that was.
