Josh glad you're ok and the mind is not cluttered with bad thoughts, been hobbling with bad ankle, damn just getting the old back straight and now this. Walt I hope you get your meds , don't guess I know getting old is the đŠS. Old school friend emailed me a guy I played with as a child died in his sleep last night, that's how I'd like to go, so ending up on that cheary note I leave you.

Day three of a nasty migraine and trouble with my hands. TV was good today with Kellys Heros, Deliverance, McQ. Momma brought home a good bag of coffee and a Whopper burger. Got in a good nap this afternoon much needed after the last couple of nights. Two small sores left on leg that is darn sure taking lots of time to heal. Hoping I have better luck at the pharmacy than some other folks around here next week. Waiting on some capacitors for a little home made headphone amp and I sure hope they get here before we move. Running low on electronic diodes and what not for my mad science experiments so I need to work on list for that.

My wife had one for the whole month of August and September - I felt helpless watching her. Thoughts with you, brother.

Welp, back to the joys of Miami...brother gets discharged from the health care unit he is in...funny thing, never saw a Dr. the whole time he has been there...so he comes home in a wheelchair and with me and the wife to take care of him until we can get an appointment with the VA to see if they will use me as a donor for his kidney transplant....I'm thinking they would rather just plant us both in the small grassy area next to the hospital. Got to see Josh for a short visit yesterday...that was a pleasure as I count him as a true brother and now I have 2. Prayers for all who will accept them...don't knock it until you have tried it. I know from experience so I am not just blowin' air. Lookin forward to getting back on the Patch for good, just don't know when that will happen. Best to all my good friends and even those who might not like me...don't want the truth, don't ask.

Snowing!
So what else is new?
Sitting by the wood stove with the NY Times Crossword Puzzle. I am convinced that people in NYC are smarter than people elsewhere.

Name a eight letter word that has two S's and starts with a A. That's how I feel about NYC proper and the guy who makes those puzzles is probably from someplace like Ohio or Maine.

They just want you to think that cause they can't do'em either.

However, it's not required to dislike New Yorkers.

I don't want to end up out in the frozen wilderness having animals that eat while I need to sleep when I am old and feeble, later this year. Actually, the land we are looking at now is 2 miles from the Walmart.

John I am a Californian who can surf and rope cows. The people who shop at WalleyWorld are animals that eat while you sleep Ron. My needs are simple when I see the Golden Arches I know that I am no longer in the wilds. Will Shortz is from Indiana. New York City is for young urbanites excited by the lights and hustle. As with most urbanites the quality of life is limited by ones bank account. Better to be poor with a shade tree than rich without one! YMMV

Another 730a-230a day.
Good night, or morning, or whatever the hell it is.

I will soon. These people just had a baby last week and their house is torn apart. I'm trying to get it back in order for them. They're family.

A few inches of fresh snow overnight. Could have been more but I will accept what we received. Packed snow means I can wear moccasins outside for chores. New snow means I have to put boots. Plenty wind today. More snow coming this evening.

I'm at home mostly alone for the next 3 days. Wife and two younger kids went to LA so my youngest could go to a concert. She's footing the bill so Im not complaining. Me and the oldest daughter are here by ourselves.

Woohoo! I got off early tonight. It's only 1 am.
Very late and long hours just to help them out. I gave them a price that was 1/4 of what I would normally charge. When I got finished, the guy said he felt bad because he knew it was worth so much more, he tried several times to to give me extra money and I refused it.
The job is done, maybe I'll be able to get some rest

Didn't realize I missed ten days. I have a lot to catch up on. I've been working 12-16 hour days cleaning up a mess with 2 walk in coolers and a walk in freezer. I had to take them completely apart and add floors and reassemble them and move the condensing units to the roof. I can't believe the crap people do and try to get away with it. This upcoming week is going to be busy as well because I have to put a kitchen together and have it ready go before Friday so another week of long hours and trying to keep caught up on calls that come in while doing the projects. I'm usually slow this time of year so I'll take the work while I have it but sure am feeling my age. Can't go like I used to but am getting through it somehow.
Hope everyone is doing well and aren't getting hit too bad by the storms coming through. We got a few inches of snow so far and waiting for the change over to rain. I'm not cleaning up the snow today, letting mother nature handle it.

I have that issue trying to work around the place here. Zero degrees (F) this morning, warming to 12 degrees when I started the feeding and watering of critters. The snow is getting deep enough that one more snow fall and I will need snow shoes to get to the barn, water tanks and hydrant. It is tough getting through the snow now without them. I have to move slow and carefully so as to not fall, slip, pull something in me, break something like a hydrant, hose, tank, gate, tools. Everything gets tired in the cold. We just carry on as best we can, eh?

In the 70's today, my granddaughter wanted to go to the Riparian reserve near the house, it was teeming with all kinds of critters, Egrets, every breed of duck it seems, I recognized the rabbit and turtles, not so sure about the pink shirted cement dweller...she picked my tobacco for me after opening several jars, Stokkebye nougat it was. The calm before the storm, back to southern and northern Arizona M-W, pickup a load locally from Fujifilm in Mesa on Thursday for a Friday Delivery in Los Angeles...I hope they receive the load promptly at 8 AM, so I can rake the spurs back home...fly back to So Cal next Sunday night for what I believe is a final week of training with a rockstar employee.

I need new rear tires and I hate spending money. The BFG KO2 only made it 92,000 miles with no flats the wife says she does not like them. I told her they have reinforced sidewalls and that's important when you play bumper car with every curb you have ever seen. They also have deep lugs important when you live in the swamp when you have to jump medians and getting unstuck after you pull off the pavement to take a w.. . So by the end of today I will be poorer and riding on new rubber. NTB is open today and I refuse to do business with another well know tire chain that has discount in the name anyway.
