Additional magazines for the M88 are impossible to find. I have spent hours searching on the internet. However, other owners told me that a Model 70 magazine will fit. So i ordered one from Zastava USA. They have the 70s in stock but no 88s. Go figure. It is longer, 9 rounds versus 8. I will loose the pinkie rest on the magazine base. I modified a magazine for a PPKs to include a finger rest. I used epoxy putty with wire reinforcement inside. Held up very well. I still have that magazine just no PPK for it. I could make a rest with that or other material. Home crafts, eh? Someone with a 3D printer could do it.

Thanks for the link. These guys are highly suspicious in the way they handle payment. Have you dealt with them before? Rather than just ordering and paying via a secure system, they require a transfer via PayPal which is not protected in the event they do not ship the magazine. Not an etailer payment but an account transfer. This smells like fraud to me. I would like to be wrong. I have been cheated by fraudulent sellers in the past and I am now cautious.

I dunno, I do know that with AMEX they will send them packing if they are scumbags.
All my online purchases are with AMEX, they do not forget who their customer is.

That is not possible with either of these sellers. They require a paypal money transfer not connected with a merchant account or retail sale. This smells really bad. How come these guys have the much sought after magazine no one else has? Why do they have this payment system. I am sorry if I seem like a paranoid but this is unlike any ecommerce I have seen.

I dunno, but I-think that if they have any affiliation with Paypal they have a responsibility to deliver merchandise that is paid for.
Again, if Paypal treated me like a chump, AMEX would tell Paypal to pound sand.

He wants payment like I was sending money to a friend or family. Not refundable under any circumstances.

ArmoryAmmo.com contacted me via text. They do not yet have a Merchant account with PayPal. All seems shady, but I will take the risk of $29.99 and order their way.

I was not able to register on their website. They have no contact information of any kind posted. I could not find comments on Google for this exact name. Similar names came up with fraud complaints. This smells bad. So, I am passing on them. Thanks for the link but I do not trust them.

This is the fun of buying less than mainstream firearms. I guess I am used to it. It is similar to trying to find 15 round magazines for a Beretta or Stoeger 8000 9mm. They are beyond unobtanium. Ten rounders are there but the 15s are impossible to find. I do love the pistol though, and enjoy shooting it immensely. Don’t get too discouraged, John. You will find a solution.

Or trying to find a larger magazine for my Browning BLR. They're made in Australia and not exported to the US.

Thanks for the tip, Ron. BTW, now watching an auction for a Zastava Model 57 Tokarev in 7.62 X 25mm. I am impressed with the ballistics of this cartridge especially with JHP ammo. 1700 fps MV. 545 ft lbs ME.

Still looking for 10-round magazines for the Ishapore Enfield 7.62 Nato. What did it come with? My Savage 223 came with a 4 round mag and I found an 8 round for it, but I decided to wait until I shoot it before I do anymore upgrades.

A pretty despicable country when it comes to firearms.

Still looking for 10-round magazines for the Ishapore Enfield 7.62 Nato. It does not load with stripper clips like the other Enfields?

My eight round magazine arrived today. Fits and functions fine. My bug fingers easily fit into the space between the grip but and the magazine bottom plate. I thinking of adding something for that gap. I tried a leather cord but too funky looking for me!
Shot a few magazines at a paper target. These Sovietski military sights are not good. I can barely find the front blade sight. I have to shoot with one eye closed as I have close range double vision which does not help. From a traumatic brain injury as a young child. I doubt there are replacement sights ready made. So, I am thinking of sight paint. Now, I tend to like yellow over white in gernal. Does anyone have an opinion? Bob, please give me your expert opinion. Any others are welcome, too.
A common theme of owners of these guns is that the front sight is too tall. Accurate shooting means the front sight about half way above the rear sight. That was so when I tried it. Even sights means low on the target. I am not ready to file the front sight down yet but that may be helpful. I think these are Tokarev battle sights. The Ivans shoot the original 7.25 X 25 guns at long battlefield ranges. At least if one believes what they see in the Russian war movies. I am interested in about twelve feet. I did not try fifty or 80 feet. Maybe painting the rear sight half way up in yellow with white on the upper part? Yes, I can make this really complicated....
