We make our yorkshire pudding in a 374 degree oven & they come out perfectly, if we don't open the door to check on them. Being over 7000 feet altitude makes more difference than you might think. How about 2+ hours to boil potatoes? It does take a long time to boil potatoes for mash or potato salad.

Baked flounder on a bed of cous cous with a saffron cream sauce, and a side of roasted broccoli. Turned out pretty damn good.

I can't imagine how someone could do that to a pork chop! What was wrong with it? I had some chicken mole in Cuernavaca that I fed to a stray dog, but it was REALLY nasty. I've never had a pork chop that I didn't like.

That is hard to chew. I cut those into tiny pieces and share with a dog.

I had some chicken mole in Cuernavaca that I fed to a stray dog, but it was REALLY nasty. I've never had a pork chop that I didn't like. It was just a very fatty cut and just pan seared and smothered in sauerkraut. Meat was tough, just wasn’t a fan. I’m not a huge pork fan to begin with unless it’s a smoked shoulder or ribs. If she had trimmed the fat and maybe put them in a pressure cooker to get them tender , I may have enjoyed it more
